I have to break down my review: Customer service — 5 stars ++++ the managers, the customer service desk, Bill who carries out my groceries and the head cashiers are phenomenal! Florist — 5 stars — Jessica is amazing. There is not an order too small or too big for her to handle and she always asks what HGES is up to so she can be fully stocked for their events. Personal shopper — 5 stars. I’ve never used them but I know so many people who do and Amber shops like YOUDO and is awesome. Butcher/meat — 3 stars. Used to be 5 but now the news guys don’t seem to cut the meat thin enough and they are not as friendly. They are not Unfriendly but just not friendly. Maybe because HT merged with Kroger? But the quality seems lower. Produce — 3 stars. Used to be 4 but now new guys are not friendly and I’ve had so many fruit and veggies go bad faster and are not as good as before. I’ve been shopping with them since the first day they opened but this year has been particularly bad. They keep spraying water on the sprouts even though I’ve told the it makes them slimy but they don’t listen. Cashiers — 5 for the old pros and 3 for the newbies. As the old pros leave the newbies just can’t fill their shoes. How many times do you have to tell cashiers not to bounce your apples or toss heavy items on top of fruit or to separate dry goods and frozen goods? Did she just put my canned food on top of my Hawaiian rolls? Really? =(But the great ones are fast, accurate and friendly. You just have to go in the right lane. Deli– 1.5 stars This is the worst department of the store. It has been problematic from day one. They don’t want to slice the meat thin because it takes longer. Then after they slice a lb of cheese they try to squeeze it into one teeny plastic bag and then press all the air out which presses the cheese back into a block. You get home and you can’t even peel the slices off. How many times do you have to ask them to shingle the cheese so you can peel the slice off one at a time? You would think the manager would just have them wrap in butcher paper or get several size bags. I also don’t like that after I have waited in the deli meat line I have to wait another time at the prepared food section. It seems they could just walk over there with me. Sub shop — 5 stars for best price and quality ingredients and 3 stars for customer service. Once again, it depends on who you get. But they run out of bread all the time. I’m not sure who decides how much bread they should bake but it seems on Friday when they are doing the special they might want to bake more bread when they start running low.. . It’s not a perfect store but what they are good in they are really good at. It’s clean and their customer service overall is great. if you have any trouble at the other departments tell a manager PLEASE so they know. You can also contact the corporate office and they are good about responding.

I am overall very satisfied with this store. Managers are nice and accommodating and the store feels very clean to me. I have recently started doing my primary shopping at this store after shopping at the Holly Springs Walmart for nearly 2 years. The deals are much better because coupons double and of course, the shopping carts are sooo much better!

They DO carry filo!!! It’s just in an odd section of the freezer aisles :) Also, I discovered and quite enjoyed the«As Seen on TV» selection which I hadn’t noticed before.

Always well stocked, even during coupon events. Clean and organized. Employees are nice, but Fuquay location seems to have a little more outgoing/super friendly employees. Still, way better than Kroger/Food Lion/Walmart any day.

The meat dept is great. Jacob and David great job guys! I always buy from the case. They hook me up with the most awesome meats and they are very patient given the workload they seem to have. Also, Calvin up front of as professional as they come and he works hard. What a great team! Kudos to the manager for making the store so nice.

I come here usually early on Saturdays and late on random weekdays. I find myself having to wait too often to be rung up when I clearly see people available. The food is priced a little higher than it should be, even with their VIC savings plan. Hopefully the recent acquisition will put more emphasis on the little things that matter to grocery store shoppers. If I’m Harris Teeter, I would do all I could to keep customers from shopping at Target and/or Walmart. Keep it simple with this: *Have the product *Be genuine in helping me find it *Sell it competitively! *Smile when you take my money Go 4 for 4 and get 5 stars…

Harris-Teeter was my go to grocery store for one week while visiting family in the area. This store is not as nice as some extravagant H-T’s I’ve been to, but a good selection nonetheless. Good solid service as always.

My wife and I stopped at Harris Teeter and got 2 sub sandwiches for a picnic on Friday. They were, by far the BEST subs I have had in this area!!! Chris L and Jeff went the extra mile to give us exactly what we asked for. We will be back.

I work at Go Realty Holly Springs just a few doors down from this Harris Teeter, so you can imagine how many times I visit there on a weekly basis. Their soup and salad bar is my favorite. Try their chicken chili if you get a chance. The service is great. I can get in and out in no time at all.

I usually go here because the produce is nicer than other stores, but yesterday, the foods looked really lackluster and especially the«fresh» green beans were floppy and wrinkled. My daughter was really disappointed that none of the samples had been refilled and it was just mid/late afternoon and the store was still pretty full of the Saturday shoppers. If I’m expected to pay a premium for many items that I can easily get next door at Wal-Mart, then I expect it to keep it up all time, not just when they are slow.(ie: $ 2+ difference in price for Breyers Ice Cream).

This is one of the newer Harris Teeters … and while it’s OK, I’m not fond of the newer«superstore» feel. Bigger doesn’t always mean better. This particular store has a generous selection of fresh fruit and vegetables(which is a big deal for me), but the rest of the store is full of the usual grocery bric-à-brac that is neither inspiring nor particularly creative. I’m a fan of the older, smaller stores that felt a bit more intimate and typically had a selection of more creative foodstuffs.
