Great beverages and books — a real treasure. But in the week we were here, they were closed twice despite their advertised hours. And today was an amazing sunny day in the low 80s.

Cute place. The iced chai tea latte was yummy and tasted just like Starbucks. They have a gift shop and a bar which I believe you can drink alcohol at, but I’m not sure. I was so hungry, but all they had were 2 cookies and packaged pastrami. The seating area outside is very nice.

This place is impossibly sweet. I stopped in on a lonely drive down the island one chilly December day. I was in dire need of a warm drink as I’d been riding my bike for an hour or so.
I realized that I only had a dollar in my pocket and a credit card. I asked if I could buy a coffee with a card (it’s a small shop) or if I could buy an Xmas ornament as well to use a card.
The proprietor offered to sell me a coffee for a dollar! She only asked (very kindly) that I pass the favor on.
The coffee was prepared wonderfully and the sentiment was amazing.
Great place, dog friendly, and great coffee drinks.
I can’t wait to come back.

Giving this place 4 stars because it exceeded my expectations. Their coffee quality was pretty good, a solid iced drink and smoothie selection, wine and beer bar, and neat little knick-​knacks/​book store made for a unique experience. We will definitely stop back on a return visit to Top Sail Beach.

Love this place! Great selection of beers and wine. The service is very good and the deck is wonderful for relaxing. The live music is a fun way to end the day.
My wife and I were here a few weeks ago with friends. Walked to the restaurant across the street and put our name on the waiting list… then cam back an relaxed on the deck, had some glasses of wine and enjoyed the wonderful weather.

Quarter Moon has an excellent selection of books as well as all kinds of gift items for people of all ages and interests. Best of all, locals love the place for the coffee and ambience. I never miss going there when I’m on the island.

Visited this place for the first time tonight. They had live music on the patio. The menu contains a wide selection of coffee-​type drinks (we both went for the chai), but they also have beer and wine. This was a really nice experience, having drinks under the stars while listening to live music. We’ll be back next time we’re in Topsail. Really cute place.
