Holliston Antiques

This is a great shop with a wonderful selection of larger pieces of furniture and well-​curated accent pieces. What began as a «we should check out this place» moment on a Saturday afternoon turned into a «how do we fit this into the trunk?» moment several hours later. Two people – a man and a woman – were staffing the shop and were eager to answer questions. Definitely worth a visit!

I’ve been a customer of Holliston Antiques for many years. The shop has two floors full of antiques, china, collectibles, furniture, jewelry, knick-​knacks, vintage toys and anything else that one would collect or have need of to furnish their homes. There’s always something interesting to look at and the prices are very reasonable. This is a multi-​dealer shop so the stock is constantly changing. The next time you’re in Holliston, stop in and take a look around!

I love this shop! There is a huge selection of beautiful furniture, many other interesting things too, the prices are reasonable and the owner is friendly and helpful. I didn’t know about the free appraisals on Thursday’s at 1 or I would have brought something to learn more about. I had fun here browsing around and plan to return. I put my email on the list to be notified of future sales!

Called to request a photo of the inside of a desk. Was told that I’d have to call on Thursday and ask for the owner and «He’ll have to see». When I asked if someone couldn’t snap a quick photo she exclaimed «No, we don’t have a camera!» they seemed unwilling to acknowledge that it’s 2015 and few people don’t have the ability to take a photo with the simplest smart phone. I cannot speak to their selection but this was a customer service experience which can only be described as adversarial. Anyone in business with a decent website in 2015 needs to know that if someone on the phone requests a quick shot of something, that it’s just lazy not to oblige.

The selection here and quality was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Many sales going on. However, I could not get past how EVERY employee (I saw at least 7) was beyond rude. We’re not talking just a little inconsiderate, I’m talking RUDE. When I attempted to ask a question, i waited while being given withering looks by two employees behind the counter talking about their personal lives. One man looked up long enough to answer my question with a 2 word answer, then dismissed me by turning back to his conversation before I could ask a second question. When he saw I was still standing there, he was visibly annoyed, rolled his eyes and walked away. I would have stayed and browsed for hours had it not been for the staff.
