I am a disabled Vet and went here 9÷30÷15 for a migraine and elevated blood pressure. Worse hospital in the world, staff included. The doctor was extremely rude, blood pressure was 177⁄111 upon arrival. The nurse could not get iv in arm. Ruptured my artery, second nurse missed badly. Did not get iv and was dehydrated and needed it. And the idiots charged me anyway. Filed a complaint with medicare. After all of that b/p went to 194⁄144 and they wanted to get rid of me and discharged me with elevated pressure. Dr said if I am not worried about it why should you??? I said my dad pasted away from hypertension. Got pain shot and no b/p pills. Had to pay again at my Dr office and pressure was even higher, 199104 I could of had a stroke. I tried to call Director’s office several times and they never called me. Horrible service, filing a formal complaint with appropriate facility. Rude, over priced, and not professional. I will NEVER go here again.

Had to go to the ER on Thursday morning, ended up having an appendectomy, first time ever in a hospital myself. This was the most incredible group of medical professionals I’ve ever dealt with. From the admin people to the nurses, doctors and surgeons, top notch across the board. Friendly, quick(even though it was a busy morning), and made me feel well taken care of, VERY highly recommended.

Waited 30min to get told they couldn’t see me today. 1. I called to verify they said yes 2. They literally turned the lights off on me 2 minutes before they close at 7pm. 3. Would not give me my paperwork back even though I will never be coming back here. 4. Girl up front was professional yet Rude. I get it, you want to go home, forget that I been sick for 2 weeks

F*ck this hospital. Full of negligent, non professional staff. Couldn’t save my brother from his injuries but still sends us the 20000 dollar bill that were never going to pay. Hope this place burns to the ground! Go over the hill if your really concerned about your health because this so called hospital couldn’t care about human life…

My husband and I came into ER after we realized we may of got sick from a pre opened can Botulism. They asked us information and took us both in right away. We saw a admitting tech, RN, PA, and a DR in a matter of 20 mins. We even got a call back about our lab work after we left. I am thankful things went very well.

If you’re in the Hollister area and need a good doctor asap, get someone to speed you over to St. Louise in Gilroy or Salinas Valley Memorial in Salinas. Don’t call an ambulance, they’ll take you to HHH. I have a friend who came here for slicing his arm open to the bone from an accident and waited nearly 6 hours for help. It doesn’t help that this hospital is the second worst hospital in America.

This hospital is not the greatest. I always tell my friends, «Go to HHH if you have a bone sticking out of your leg AND you can’t bear the pain for a ride to the hospital in Gilroy or Salinas.» It’s just disorganized and feels unprofessional. I broke my toe a few years ago(broken bad, like pointing the wrong direction off of my foot) and the ER docs did a great job of re-setting it. It was painful, but they did a good job. Oh BTW, while I was there an ER nurse let a county jail inmate escape on accident. They let her into a bathroom with two door and she bolted out the back door. No joke. Billing has to be my number one complaint here. You have to call, call, call, and call again to get bills straightened out. They even sent me to collections once without ever sending me a bill.(I’ve NEVER been in collections before this.) They just can’t seem to get a single bill right from any trip we’ve had to take there. I don’t know what the problem is. Another time I went there for severe abdominal pain at midnight and after checking me in, getting me into an ER bay, the rude ER doctor lady tells me that my pain is not bad enough. They aren’t going to bother an on-call doc to come in at this hour and they offered me no diagnostic testing. They just gave me Vicodin and told me that I should go to my regular doc in a few days. I went to Salinas Valley Memorial the next day and they gave me a CT scan, ultrasound, morphine and a full panel of diagnostic blood tests. They uncovered a medical problem. They will fly you out to another hospital for almost anything serious. I’m also glad that my Wife and I didn’t decide to have our premature baby here. We opted for SVMH and we’re glad we did. HHH doesn’t have a NICU and would have had to fly our 10-week premature son all the way up to Stanford. Considering we had to live at the NICU for two months, that would have been a nightmare. Besides that the birthing center looks creepy and outdated. Like a «Momma’s Family episode»(Seen in January 2010) I’ll say it again: «Go to HHH if you have a bone sticking out of your leg AND you can’t bear the pain for a ride to the hospital in Gilroy or Salinas.» HHH Sucks.
