I love this venue. I would give it 5-stars if they could get some first-rate artists like the Mountain Winery in Saratoga does. It’s a gorgeous place with good wine and the fact you can bring in your own chair and a picnic basket is awesome. I recently went to a concert at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga and they do not allow outside food and drink. I think if Hollister could get Boston, Gypsy Kings, Smashmouth, Eddie Money like the Mountain Winery does or the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk it would be even more awesome. I have out of town friends who’d love to come but don’t want to see tribute bands they want to see the real deal. I do however think Bonfire and the Eagles tribute band should come every year because they are awesome!

Excellent venue for an outdoor concert. Bring your own low profile chair or a blanket, a picnic and buy a bottle of their delicious wine to start your evening. Or purchase an order of their delicious nachos and a tri tip sandwich which is awesome. The sound system offers great sound and the views are breathtaking. All of this equates to a wonderful, entertaining summer evening.

Went to the Guerra Cellar for the first time to go see Los Lobos last night and it was GREAT!!! The venue was so nice and the view… WOW! We had dinner before so we only took a blanket but for sure we would do a small picnic next time. The hill was a little steep and I wore heels but that was my bad. I really can’t wait for the next concert season to come!

Probably my favorite place to attend a concert, anywhere. The location is a lush, rolling lawn amphitheater with a cool, old-timey stage at the bottom. The backdrop is a view of the beautiful rolling Hollister hills. The food is whatever you want to bring, OR you can buy something tasty at the concession stand(hotdogs and such — last year they had tri-tip sandwiches, which hopefully they’ll bring back next year). The booze is the beer and wine they sell at reasonable prices(including wine by the bottle, which is perfect for the venue). It can get very cold at night so bring warm clothes/blankets. Also bring your kids, your low-backed lawn chairs, and other picnic accoutrements. I can’t recommend this concert series highly enough. You gotta go.
