LOVE the Garlic Garni. Use it to replace garlic powder or salt in everything. Service great. It’s little things like the silly thank you note that came in my shipment that make me take the time to do reviews. Thanks!

Are you like me? Insert insults here — — — — — — — — — – I love garlic! To the south of Gilroy CA(The Garlic Capitol of the world*) is a place called Hollister a small town in San Benito County that is the home to a little known gem called Garlic Festival Foods. Having only been there once long ago for a bike week rally I vaguely remember the place. A nice little homey community with an cool old school downtown. Kind of like where I grew up. Last summer during the OC Fair I got reacquainted with the sleepy little town of Hollister thru a great company called Garlic Festival Foods. I guess they got a shop there too. One of the cooler vendors I discovered this year was GFF. Kind of catchy ain’t it? GFF Garlic Friends Forever! Anyhow I tried several of the products and I must say Hell Yea! They make some good s**t! I ended up buying a couple to try at home. The Garlic — Lime — Chipotle Sauce … Its freaking great. A nice kind of sweet savory tasting sauce that’s the bomb on your BBQ chicken. You want be a hero at your next BBQ get some of this. Girls will be throwing themselves at you, men will carry your bags, old women will kiss your cheeks, but mostly you’ll get some great tasting birds that will fly off your tongue and nest happily in your belly! The Garlic Jalapeño Mustard is also some great tasting stuff. I’ve used it as a base for dry rub on my smoked meats with some great results as well as a condiment for a good old hot dog with equally good results. Good stuff! What can I say garlic, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and salt are a separate food group in me’ casa. The core group. And GFF gets my core going easy. They got a website chock full of all kinds of garlicky goodness. Check it out. they also carry the great Pepper Plant sauces, fresh and pickled garlic of every kind. Garlic gift packs, garlicky, marinades, seasonings and dips, great garlic recipes and so much more. I want try the garlic chocolate! Also check out the«find us at» online page, to see where they carry GFF near you. Hey give these guys a try. You can thank me later. * I thought Gilroy was the capitol of the garlic universe. WRONG! The Chinese out produce us by a zillion times(what’s new) and the Koreans(DUH!) are pretty high up there too. But India? I can’t remember any Indian garlic dishes??? Top 10 garlic producers in 2010(From Wiki) Garlic World Production(ton’s) China 13,664,069 or 77% * All the Chinese garlic I’ve ever tried was weak! The simplest way to put it is this place is great. The feel of the shop is personable and comfy. Everything smells good and tastes better. They’ve also participated in this charity organization I work with, Operation: Care and Comfort, by donating delicious seasoning packets in generous quantities to the troops. P. S. Try some of this stuff on your popcorn, it’s delicious.

I love the Garli Garni products, especially the Cajun seasoning. I use it in marinades for meat, as a spice to chili and other spicy dishes, and to add flavor to dips. I love the Garli Glaze on pork roast and as a tasty dip along side Brie and crackers. The garlic stuffed olives are great in salads and just to enjoy right out of the jar. There isn’t anything that I’ve tried that I haven’t liked! It’s all good!
