(This review is for their product only) I purchased a s’more apple through a school fundraiser. I received the apple last Saturday and just cut into it today. The apple itself was a pretty good size and fresh. Because the apple was refrigerated, it cut easily and clean with the toppings staying very well intact. I tried biting into a slice right after, but it was rock hard. I then left the apple on the counter and came back to it an hour later. The apple was pretty delicious! The caramel had soften at that point into a sweet, sticky goo that balanced the crisp of the apple. The textures of the toppings only added to the deliciousness of the treat. In one bite, there was a fusion of sweetness, sourness, and tartness all over your mouth. This s’more apple caramel is a definite 5 stars!

I wish I had never found this place. I’m so hooked on their caramel apples I think about them all day. I don’t even like caramel apples! I stumbled on their booth at the San Mateo Flower Show. They were passing out samples of the Apple Pie A La Mode apple. I thought, gross, I hate green apples and can’t stand anything yogurt coated! Then I took a bite and my life changed forever. I bought three right off the bat then sent my husband back to buy more. Unfortunately, they ship and I live in Monterey, so the apples are easily accessible either way, which means I’ll just be buying tons more in the future. I cannot even describe how good this apple is. I bought a bunch of their chocolate candies, too. Toffee, s’mores, chocolate marshmallows, etc. Those were good, but their honeycomb candies blew my husband away. Do not go here if you have no self control — this place is just too good!!! I’m so hooked!!!

Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Apple… DELICIOUS! And their earthquake and salted caramels from their Pick-A-Pack section are two of my favorites. Wonderful staff too.

The most amazing chocolate anywhere! I thought that Godiva or another lovely chocolatier near us was the best but I was wrong. Went to their factory for the first time in Wednesday, and their truffles cost half what godivas do, and though they’re a bit smaller they are twice as good! Their chocolate covered honeycomb was amazing. Their milk chocolate awesome and their beautiful candy apples are art. Go!

Have been a big fan since my first bite years ago. Love love love their apples! My personal fave is Rocky Road followed by Macadamia bliss. Warning: it is not your regular County Fair candy apples. Their stuff is loaded with lots of goodies and joy!!!

The most delicious candied apples ever! Our 911 center does an annual fundraiser with these apples and my family and I go to the Monterey Farmer’s Market(also awesome!) to get them year round!

Their caramel apple combinations are fantastic and decadent! They are even more accessible now that they have a storefront at the outlet shopping center in Gilroy. It’s a bit pricier there(3 for $ 30) vs. their factory in Hollister(3 for $ 25). Hey, that’s the price you pay for convenience! I have yet to be disappointed by any of their offerings. Check out my waistline! LOL!

The chocolate covered apples are the best ever. They even have rejects that don’t make the a team that are cheaper. My aunt did a fund raiser with them. I lived in Hollister for 5 years never came here now I’m hooked

I never used to care about caramel apples. For all of my life, I’ve been a cookie monster… Until I had my first caramel apple from here… it was love at first bite!!! I kid you not. I had to close my eyes and savor the flavors exploding. the tart but sweet crunch of the apple, the chocolate. the almonds.the caramel… it was a whole new world :))))) I’ve had rocky road and dark chocolate with almonds and caramel. SOOOOOOOOO delicious. These are not your every day caramel apples you get at amusement parks. These are monstrous in size. They’re perfect to slice up and share(if you feel like it). I’m so glad this place is a drive out. otherwise i might be there just way too often!!!

I’m not a fan of candy apples so this review should say a lot. A co-worker’s daughter was selling these for a cheerleading fundraiser and I decided to support the cause. We ordered a few apples and were completely impressed by the quality and flavor. A few months later, on our way to family function, we decided to stop in and grab a couple more and shared them with the out of town relatives and they too were impressed.

If your on the Highway 25 Southbound to Hollister, then make a stop at De Brito’s Chocolate Factory. If it’s for a birthday, wedding, holiday or just for the joy to pick up something sweet, this is the spot to visit. Staff is very friendly and all chocolate and candies are made in there factory, which you can view through. A glass window behind the checkout stand. Highly recommend visiting this small establishment and you will not leave disappointed.

OMG! GUESSWHAT? They’re opening a store in the GILROYFACTORYOUTLETS right next to the Adidas store! I hear it’s opening in May 2014! How much better can it get! I can’t wait to get my fix without ordering on line, going to the actual factory in Hollister, or finding Mrs. De Brito at a candy show! WOOT-WOOT!!!

Awesome. If you pull up and you are skeptical in front of the building… Then you are at the right place. And do NOT judge this book by its cover! The goodies at this place are incredible!

WHYWEWENTHERE: — family day — prepared to get chocolate wasted — the way my mother described it to us, we were expecting it to be like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory THELOOK(FROMTHEOUTSIDE): — seemed like we came across a farm — open fields, dirt road, etc. THELOOK(FROMTHEINSIDE): — we were ALL surprised to see that it was a small building that was basically a chocolate shop with a register counter that separated the shop from the kitchen(which was kind of like a baby nursery in a hospital — a glass window + wall separated the shop from the workers making of the chocolate goods in the back) WHATWEBOUGHT: — almost every single chocolate covered candied apple, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate almond toffee, white chocolate syrup, etc. — everything was SO good; all chocolate lovers need to pass by here at least once in their life

The Salted Carmel candy apple is AMAZING! I always order at least 1 a year through school fundraisers & stop a couple times a year to grab some different ones for gifts. Fresh, top quality fruit and you can tell all their selections are made with LOVE!

WTHECK??? We were out shopping at the Harvest Festival in San Jose when Jason, co-owner of The Coconut Hut, came back munching on something and in complete bliss. «You got to try these, they’re called „Earthquakes“.» He went on to explain they were bite size rice crispy treats with peanut butter, caramel and nuts and covered with chocolate. I couldn’t bring myself to separate him and his 6 pieces of chocolate heaven bliss so I asked where he got it from and would pick up a bag of my own. He continuted to show me his GINORMOUS Marshmellow covered apple. WTH??? There’s an apple underneath all that??? Needless to say, I high-tailed it down to the direction of the booth he pointed at. What I purchased: EARTHQUAKES: Damn, Jason was right. These things are blissful. I love rice crispy treats. The Canadian loves peanut butter. This is the perfect marriage of the things we both love. I bought two bags(one bag carries six bite size) and I’m glad I did ‘cuz there would have been a fight in our household. CHOCOLATECOVEREDBLUEBERRIES: You can’t go wrong here. These were perfect. CARAMELTURTLES: These were delightful. Perfectly chewy with good mounds of nuts and covered in chocolate with a nicely toasted pecan. Well done. MACADAMIANUTCANDYAPPLEDRIZZLEDWITHMILKCHOCOLATEANDBUTTERSCOTCH: SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR! It’s intimidating how big this thing is. It actually has WHOLEMACADAMIA nuts on this sucker(and not the small scrimpy kind either). The chocolate/caramal, butterscotch is just so perfectly chewy(although not sticky on the fillings, thank God ‘cuz I couldn’t stop eating it) and the green apple inside gives it the perfect crispy and salty texture. We cut into it and ate half. Two hours later, we couldn’t resist eating the rest. Damn these things are freakin’ RIDICULOUS! SUCHGOODCANDYANDAAAAAAAAAAMAZINGAPPLES!!! GOGETSOME!
