College Hunks Hauling Junk

These guys are fabulous! I had a load of junk (old tvs, computers, file cabinet, books, stuff for goodwill and old planting pots, broken trellis, backyard lounge chair, trash, etc) AND I needed several heavy pieces of office furniture moved from an upstairs room to downstairs.
They gave me an estimate before they started and got straight to work. They hauled all the junk into their truck and then started on moving the furniture. There was only 2 of them so I was worried they wouldn’t be able to move the heavy office/​computer cabinet downstairs. It’s about the size of an entertainment center.
They carefully disassembled the cabinet, moved it downstairs in 2 big pieces and re-​assembled it in the new room. They also moved a large book shelf and credenza. All without damaging the furniture or the walls.
They finished quickly and were very friendly and professional. All of that cost me $ 330. $ 240 of that was for the junk removal since it filled about a ¼ of their truck. I had done my research, and movers alone would’ve cost about $ 300 for a three hour minimum and without the junk removal.
I’d recommend these guys to anyone who’s doing a major house cleaning of all the stuff they’ve been accumulating, and making major furniture moves. I’ll definitely use them again!

We had a smallish load of of recyclables and miscellany that we wanted out of the backyard and house, but don’t have access to a truck. When I couldn’t stand the clutter any more, I found College Hunks Hauling Junk via google.
As an environmentalist, I wanted a company that would prioritize re-​using and recycling instead of just heading to the landfill. I was completely assured on that account (and was impressed that in their introduction, they make it clear that reusing and recycling is their goal).
I was also impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and exuberance shown by the two men who came to help. I would highly recommend this Santa Clara-​based crew.
