The granola bowl of breakfast stops! Fruit, nuts and cluster f*cks. Hot tea arrived quickly and I thought «negative reviews about service must be from snobby city folk who got lost on a Sunday drive!» Boy was I wrong! The ‘Zee’ represents the nap you can take waiting for refills or the attention of your waitress to get the check! Perfect for a Sunday drive! You can have an adequately generic meal and get a week’s worth of praying done all in the same location!
I noticed an extensive list of icecream flavors. Next time it’s takeout! If there is a next time.

Stopped here for a late lunch. The service was great and the food was delicious! Everything was really competitively priced. We were too full to eat dessert but it looks amazing!!! Will be back here.

I want to like this place, but due to the staff and lack of customer service i just can’t. The food is very good. Well cooked and seasoned perfectly. The place itself is clean and well maintained.
Like i said, the service is almost non existent. No follow up, no care shown by the staff.

I have tried this place periodically as I did today, hoping that they fix their coffee problem, but so far not the case. Food is really good but when I go for breakfast, a great tasting coffee is a must and this place does not have it. Holland’s water is not the best tasting stuff, and I am guessing that’s the problem, as if you ask for a glass of water you get the same horrible taste. Too bad. There are so many times I want to stop or bring friends, but I’m a bit of a coffee and water snob and so will it will likely be a long time before I go back.

This has easily become our new place to go when traveling from Erie to Cattaraugus County. The menu is nothing fancy but the food is delicious. We’ve had tuna melts, burgers, eggs Benedict and more. Everything was delicious and the service is friendly and fast. It’s a very cute country place. Try it!

The owner is very rude she has no personality what so ever. The food is nothing exceptional but is goodthe waitress was very friendly but extremely slow par for the cook herself. Was slow Great coffee spot for locals to catch up on small town news

I’ve lived close to this place for a few years now. At first we liked it– good breakfast– but then the service really seemed to go downhill. The last time I went the food was also not very good. So a year and a half later– we went back tonight– still awkward service– good food mostly: good burger and fries, great blt, soggy home fries and the soda is sold by the bottle. That could get expensive fast with a thirsty group. Not bad in a pinch. The people coming in for ice cream seemed pleased but I thought it overpriced. I suggest you leave your jacket in the car as you come out smelling like a greasy spoon.

The Zider Zee is a very tricky place. It’s great food, but the service is absolutely terrible. I try to make it a point that every time I come to visit my home town, I stop, but it seems every time I go, the wait time to even be greeted is far too long to feel welcomed. This time in particular, was the worst. We got there ad were looked at by all 3 staff members, consisting of 2 waitresses and a cook. We seated ourselves as you do, and noticed there were only 3 other tables full in the place. The waitresses ignored us and we’re doing dishes and talking and cleaning and sitting and talking with another table while we still hadn’t even been spoken to. After 12 minutes of waiting, we finally left. It makes this place a hard place to rate because the food is absolutely wonderful, but the people and service get continuously worse and make the place not worth coming back to.

Geesh! As stated by another Unilocaler. Service is slowwwww (I think I might of actually caught a cat nap, had a dream and woke up and I was still waiting) patience is a virtue right?!? The food was even longer to come out (I think I should’ve brought a paperback to read after my nap) wow!
The food is good actually. The double Dutch dip was tasty and done perfect. Points for that. This place is small and can become packed and busy given the time of day so check the parking lot over before entering the premises.
Ice cream is also available if your craving a desert. Also lots of homemade local pies from sweet creations in Holland NY.
Ziders earned a star for food but service and delivery are brutal at best minus 2.

Wow!!! The Double Dutch Dip is the BEST «French dip» type sandwich that I’ve EVER had by far!!! The roll was so crispy, perfect amount of cheese, the roast beef was perfect, the au jus was amazing. I can’t even properly describe this melt-​in-​your-​mouth sensation. Absolutely incredible! This place has incredible food at very reasonable prices. Seriously, can’t be beat. The desserts are a must try. I love the Turtle Cheesecake!!! Oh, and, the French fries… Yes! One of the top 3 French fries places in my list! Super crunchy and bursting with flavor! I love this place.

I would have actually given this place another star if the service weren’t so terrible. We decided to give this place a try after reading an article about their homemade desserts. While the server was nice, none of us were ever offered a refill on our drinks even though they were empty when she delivered our food, and she never checked back to make sure we were enjoying our meals. It was very strange since there were only 2 other tables in the place, and both came in at different times after we had arrived. I have to say that the homemade chicken wing soup was delicious. The flavor was spot on, and their were large chunks of chicken. My entrée was just okay. I ordered the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, but the sauce was creamy with a slightly grainy texture and the pasta was literally swimming in the sauce. The overall flavor was pretty good though. My husband had the seafood platter, and the scallops were huge and the fish was delicious. Definitely a calorie splurge kind of place, but I would go back for some take out. I ended up skipping out on dessert because I was thirsty and ended up being handed the check before we were offered dessert or before I could ask. I’m not sure why she was in a rush to get us out of there, but I will definitely order take out next time!

Family and I was passing through Holland, NY to get to land in Arcade when we passed this little restaurant. My parents had breakfast here a few times and recommends that we all try it…
DELICIOUS! The service was A+ and Breakfast came in huge portions and the food was REALLY REALLY GOOD… The prices are phenomenal too!
Many has recommended the BBQ Chicken served on FRI, SAT and SUN. I will be back to try that as well.
