This is our first time at this restaurant, we were on our way to Chicago from Ann Arbor and decided to stop off for lunch. I ordered the Steak and Avocado salad and my girlfriend got the Chicken BLT. Both were flavorful and fresh. We also ordered a flight of beers(4) and tried the cherry cider, which was pretty tart and delicious !! Be sure to at least glance above the bar at the collection of salt and pepper shakers. We had Jaime the server and she was polite, attentive and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. I had to make a substitution due to allergies and she offered options.

Found on Unilocal and stopped for lunch. Liked it so well we came back for dinner. Made reservation(a must on Saturday night) since they will be closed on Sunday when we drive through again. Balsamic Chicken was great. So was the Olive Burger. The veggies were very fresh in all meals we ordered. Dessert was great– pie in a jar. We will definitely be back if we venture this way again… or we may come 2+ hours just to eat here!

I was surprised by the location and the exterior does not lend itself to the warm comfortable character inside the restaurant/bar. The staff are attentive, friendly and the service prompt. The portions are large so come hungry. I had the Rueben and my lunch partner had the fish tacos, both delicious and surprisingly plenty of fish on the tacos. The bread and butter that comes to the table is worth the visit alone.

It’s been a bit since I visited this restaurant, but I just noticed I have yet to write a review! I must say, I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. From the outside, I was a little scared to eat here because I thought it was going to be a dive, but it absolutely wasn’t! When we got there, there was a 45 minute wait. It seemed everyone who was in Holland was eating here that night! As we got seated, I remember the ambiance clearly. The restaurant had very dim lighting that I didn’t like at all… In turn, I could barely read the menu because it was too glossy for the lighting and I had to actually use my phone’s light to look at it. The food, though, was very delicious. For an entrée, I ordered the Steak & Avocado Caesar Salad, which was one of the better steak salads I’ve had. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly! For a dessert, we ordered a yummy cobbler in a jar — oh em gee, it was the BEST. The waitress was sarcastic and hilarious… And she gave us pixie stix with our check. Now, that’s a win!

The burger and the chicken sandwich we had were both delicious. And all the sandwiches come with kettle chips and French onion dip, bonus! Great, service, great food — definitely a must try!

Wonderful atmosphere and good food! Sometimes the wait can be quite long so you might want to call ahead to see what the wait time is. Or simply show up at five instead of six. I’d recommend the balsamic chicken for dinner and then ask if you can split the plate with the person you’re eating with. Still plenty of food and you only pay two more dollars to split the plate(and they add sides to both plates). Highly recommend.

I need to update my review. After a horrible experience in early December I refused to go back. The restaurant ran out of the prime rib special. I ordered an appertizer and dinner. The dinner was wrong and I was overcharged. The appertizer was brought after the meal. The waiter blamed me for the mix-up. Drink refills were slow. Manager refused to come to my table. They took $ 2 off my bill. I was going to complain to the hostess when I left but she wasnt there. I went back to the hotel and threw out the loyalty card. Recently I told the restauurant to stop emailing me offers. The owner asked me what happened. Instead of trying to make amends and offer me to come back he said I understand why you dont come and there are many restaurants in Holland. His apology was a joke! I am on an expense account so didnt expect a free meal, but what a pitiful response by the owner! I urge everyone to not patronize a restaurant with ownership like this. I had lots of coworkers who came in town and I told them to avoid this place. Go to Crazy Horse which is owned by their feuding family. I go there every week and bring many people.
