The food is tasteless and just plain bad. Ordered German food just to be disappointed. The gravy had chunks from being skimmed off the top of a warmer. The knockwurst looked like something from the grocery store shelf. Salsa honestly was probably Tostitos. I would not recommend eating here if you’re looking for authentic German food. It was a Friday night and to be seated in an empty dining room should have been the first clue.

Food is pretty good. Margaritas are good but not great. Haven’t been to the new location yet, but I will be checking it out to see how food and margs are. It’ s been awhile since I have been there

Technically, this should be a marriage of two things I love, sauerkraut and margaritas. Turns out it’s a bit of a nightmare. My dad always told me it’s better to be an expert in one thing than mediocre at many things. This is a tip that would do well with the creators of this German-Mexican food hybrid. It turns out, these two types of food just don’t even taste good together, and they were both just meh at best. German food is tart with vinegar and kraut, meant to bite. Mexican food is warm and sweet and comforting. We tried the kraut balls, they were good. Didn’t taste fresh, but okay. The Mexican food was also just… So so. Also the jumbo margaritas were basically ice water. I have lots of unresolved feelings about this place. I’ve decided to not come back and instead focus on their other, WAYMOREAMAZING, restaurant, Barron’s.

My family has gone to Fritz and Alfredo’s since they were located on Summit St. We always enjoy ourselves. I like their new location, though it’s a bit if a drive for us now. Worth it though for a nice casual night out with my family.

The Chimichanga is amazing and so are the margaritas. This is my father’s favorite restaurant and has become mine too when I come to visit him in Toledo. Seriously, I haven’t found a vegetarian chimichanga that compares to this place back home in Boston. Also, the servers are so friendly and attentive. Ive been here multiple times and I don’t know why this place only has bad reviews.

Bad service, bad food, and tacky atmosphere. Will not be returning. We ordered sauerkraut balls(way too much breading) jalapeño peppers(farm rich out of the freezer sections is better), a hamburger(dry and crumbly, no flavor), French fries, hot dog(bun was stale), número ocho(asked for no onion and everything came back covered in onions), and tamales(too salty and it looked like they melted slices of American cheese on the top! Yuck!) my drink was TINY. Our waitress took for ever to come and get us what we needed or take our order.

If you want to go to a place with terrible service and typical Tex-Mex food then please go here. This restaurant moved from a bad part of town to Holland, Ohio. We were so excited to get a restaurant close to home that has been around for 30 years and what a waste of excitement. I have been here 6 times to try the Tex-Mex, American Bar food, and German. I am not sure which selection was worse. The Mexican food in bland with everything topped with cheap cheddar cheese. I ordered a Beef and Bean Chimichanga that comes with the cheap cheese melted on it, it was tasteless. On a second visit I ordered it again and asked for beef gravy to top the cheese to add flavor and well how can you ruin an already bad dish? I didn’t think that you could actually make something worse. The other items I ordered aren’t worth writing about. Receiving condiments in packets tells you it is more for drinkers and not people that like god food. Don’t expect to get service after your food is delivered. There is no visible owner or manager or servers??? They dont talk when they do they ask you something and by the time you go to say something they are gone. The is a blonde server with the pony tail is clearly out for money, taking as many tables as she can to get tips. If she were to take fewer tables, service them properly, she may make better tips. A word of caution, watch the booths they are broken. They are like riding a bull with you and the person behind you continually pushing on the back of the booth.
