Bruno’s Barber Shop

I love Bruno’s! They always have multiple haircutters on staff so I rarely wait, and when I do it’s never for more than a few minutes. All the barbers are good and they seem to all have a nice rapport with each other. The coupons in the Hometown Shopper weekly circular are certainly a nice touch, although the prices appear to be more than reasonable in any case.
I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and I’ve never had a bad haircut. If I had to say who does my hair the best I would say Larry. He is warm, personable and takes his time. he does an exceptional job and is very courteous. Larry is definitely an asset to Bruno’s. (I wonder if I shouldn’t say that because now he will become famous and I will have to wait for him in the future!) Anyway, he made me look like «a movie star» and I really like his haircuts the best.

Update July 2015: Also need to mention that PATTY is an excellent haircutter. She’s friendly, doesn’t overwhelm you with talk, and does a fantastic and thorough job!

A simple, no frills barbershop with a good staff.
They do kids cuts and generally men, though I think they might do women (I don’t know).
Always have a smooth cut when finished and price is right. A Holbrook staple.

Thanks, Bruno, for totally ignoring what could have been new customers yesterday. We went to your shop on March 22 and waited patiently for «Maria,» who didn’t as much as acknowledge our existence. But you can’t be all bad if you have Rolling Stone magazine there to read.

Thanks to Dennis D and a comment about Patty trimming his beard, I decided to get this bearded face over to Bruno’s. Patty did indeed do a great job on the hair cut and the beard trim… and the whole thing (plus tip) was under $ 20! Plus they open at 8 AM!
Getting a spot in the small parking lot was another story though. Be afraid, be very afraid.
UPDATE ¹⁰⁄₂₀: Went back again a few days ago and had the eponymous Bruno cut my hair. Still a fan of the shop but that parking lot is miserable!

The staff is really good with customers of all ages. The place reminds me of the old barber shops I used to go to in Brooklyn.
Parking is limited, but there is plenty in the shopping center across the street.

As good as an old fashion cut and shave can get. Bruno’s broken English with his thick Italian accent is just charming when you talk to him. He is not a talker though. Talk to him a little and he will open up. He really reminds me of my grandfather. Sweet old man.
