Hunter’s Bar and Grill

We live local, so we went for the live music, and gave the food another chance (2^nd visit). Ordered onion rings… waited for ketchup, but they put grated Parmesan cheese on them? Ordered raw oysters, had to wait for the hot sauce and came with zero crackers. Ordered the «Baked Ziti» and not a single thing about it was baked. The Lasagna was absolutely swimming in sauce (see photos). There was so much sauce, they asked my wife if she needed a box for leftovers… maybe a jar! Did not seem as if the lasagna ever met the oven. It tasted pre packaged and not made on site. Maybe if the sauce was good, and there was any hint of a crust (signs of baking). Wife ordered Bacardi and coke… could not taste the rum at all. Asked for another, it was lucky if it got a ½ shot ($ 6.50 each should have 2 shots). Had to move to the bar and watch them make it before either could detect any rum. We went for the live music which was fun, but if we go again, we will eat someplace else before we go there… maybe Nachos next door. I just don’t see us ever eating here again. We gave it a second shot last night because the first time was the first week they were open, so we excused it as being growing pains. I would not dare risk the money on the «Wild Game» that a placed called «Hunters», and has a cross-​hair rifle scope logo, doesn’t feel comfortable listing on the menu… you have to ask for what they have.

servers are courteous and everything was clean and visually neat and orderly.
owner is very nice and the bar area is modestly stocked but the bartender experience makes up for their shortcomings.
