Krave Salon

I couldn’t be more disappointed. After being a client here for several years and finding one of the best, most trustworthy, and talented stylists in the area (Pamela) I found out that the three core stylists all left for greener pastures. Why would they all leave at once? Experience tells me that it is likely an issue of ownership.
If you’re a client at Krave, prepare to find your stylist from there or find a new one as I don’t think Krave can possibly continue without them.

I came to Krave after a bad color and cut at another salon. I knew the cut could be fixed, but I thought I was stuck with the color (far too dark, more of a super-​strong espresso).
I saw Natasha at Krave and, after one visit, I can already say she is the best stylist I’ve ever seen! She not only fixed my color without damaging my hair, but gave me a fantastic cut. Now, my color is more of a chocolate meets red velvet (what I originally wanted) and my hair is shiny and healthy, even after a color correction!
I can’t recommend Natasha enough. She’s a great listener and asks questions to make sure she is giving you what you want. She also has a great eye for tone and hair texture.
Krave is also a great salon. The wash room and the color processing room are spa-​quality, with low light and soothing environments. Natasha gave me a scalp massage after my shampoo and it was the highlight of my week.
I definitely recommend the salon and particularly Natasha to anyone!

A nice salon with friendly staff. Been there a couple of times now and have had a great haircut each time.
Guy cuts are $ 25 and are worth it.
I’ve never waited very long, as scheduling seems to be working well.

I followed my stylist, Laura, here from another salon in Barrington and I am not dissapointed. A much nicer atmosphere, great space, and I love, love, love my stylist. Derek is a doll and always makes everyone feel welcome. Elyse at the front desk is very responsive to emails and phone calls. So glad Laura left the other salon and came here to Krave. Great color, great cuts, great staff.

Derek does an amazing job with curly hair. Never in my life have I had someone been able to blow out my hair so straight. His cuts are right on as well. It never looks like a fresh cut that needs to grow out a bit to look good. He is also great with color… very natural! Clean place with fun staff as well!

After not cutting my hair for over a year and a half, I finally made the decision to chop off 8 inches. Originally I planned to go to Kuna’s but she never called me back to schedule an appointment. After delaying this for over a month, I make an appointment at Krave via email since it was super close to my house.
Christine was my stylist and I am extremely happy with her work. She wasn’t chatty, which I actually like. She listened and was able to decipher the look I wanted even though I save her bits and pieces of information. Since the cut such a drastic change, I was expecting to hate it. However, I love what she has done and have NO regrets with my decision to chop it off.
The best part was that the cost was reasonable, the front desk was friendly, and the salon was modern and clean. I will definitely be going back.

I went here to get my hair done for a wedding. I have never been here EVER! I had the best experiance. I will be going back for all of my formal hair needs! Angelo did a wonderful job and everyone LOVED my hair. Thank you so much!

What a great salon!!! Darek and Angelo know their stuff, I trust them completely. Great service, reasonable prices and quality products, can’t ask for better. I simply show up and let them work their magic. I also used them for hair and make up for my wedding last year, very happy with the result.

I’m a huge fan of Angelo!!! He does Hairloc extentions. When I moved to Chicago from Palm Springs, he was the only person I could find in the area who knew how to do Hairlocs. How amazing it is that he is a true Hairloc professional and super sweet to boot. Mention Lady Gaga and you have your self a great story…
