Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham Chicago Hoffman Estates

I decided to take a last minute trip to Chicagoland and had to pay through the nose for an airline ticket. So I decided to forgo the luxury hotels that I normally stay at to make my travel expenses more reasonable.
The room price was in the $ 50 dollar plus range. The room was rather large and comfortable, especially the bed. They had a kitchenette, a regular sized refrigerator, free Wi-​Fi and a microwave. Score! They had free breakfast. I must admit, I did have a couple of waffles. The refrigerator and microwave came in handy to heat up the leftover deep dish pizza. They also have silverware and plates.
But who let the dogs out? I heard some barking on a Saturday night. I was really surprised that there was a dog in the hotel. But apparently dogs are allowed when I inquired at the front desk. This place was a little tricky to find but a quick call to the hotel solved the problem.
In summary, I will now stay at this hotel when visiting Chicagoland. This place truly has many more amenities then those luxury hotels.

BOOKED THROUGH HOTWIRE AND HOTEL STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE STAY ON MY CREDIT CARD! I booked 3 nights at this hotel. The entire stay was prepaid through Hotwire. Hotel still charged (my «incidentals» credit card) for the stay! Will not go back ever again!

I am from out of town and would like to start off by saying the front desk crew is awesome, especially if Alex or Hussein is there! My room stayed tidy and my stay was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel ROCKS!!! Not only was it in a GREAT location, it also had a kitchenette, flat screen TV and free breakfast every morning. I was able to go grocery shopping in the area using the hotel shuttle (which will take you anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel), plug my computer into the TV for free entertainment AND the WI-​Fi was included as well. I can’t say enough about this place. And, I had the studio sized room with a queen bed which comfortably fit myself and my 6’7″ boyfriend. The granite counter tops, updated hardware, beautiful tile and furniture in the bathroom were incredible too! I absolutely LOVED this hotel and hope to find more like it in the Wyndham family.

Spent a night here last night. Does not deserve the rating on priceline/​other hotel sites
First, gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. Thankfully guest was not in the room when i opened the door
Only one vending machine in the building and it was out of order. I had drive to a gas station
Room was not vacuumed properly. There were bunch of raisins in the living room. My dog found and ate few. (Grapes are bad for dog!!!) Given it was a pet room hotel should has paid extra care, especially when they charge you $ 15 extra!!!
Would not come back here as they are many other choices around here

My first time at this property because I had a discount from
and glad I came here. The hospitality is awesome. Jen the GM went out of her way for us on some tea and I mean a variety. She also cooked up the dinner tonight. The hotel serves a different meal 3 nights per week (Tue through Thurs). Nice area with tons of places to eat as well. Great experience will be back when that opportunity comes!

Nicole was super friendly she checked us in. The room was clean with a stocked kitchenette. The bed was so comfortable and fresh I didn’t want to leave. The breakfast in the morning was a little lacking it had eggs bacon bread bagels english muffins make your own waffles yogurt juice milk tea coffee apples muffins oatmeal. Only reason i say lacking is because I called a week before the person on phone said hash browns omlets 2 types of meat. So I was expecting more hot foods. But we got full. Also check out is 12 which is 1hr later then other hotels but they would not allow any later even though it was a Sunday. Will go again. No pool though.

Everyone I’ve encountered at this hotel has been more than helpful. With the exception of one lady, Felicia. Beware! Rude as ever.

Good breakfast, fair rates, clean as can be, nice grilling area outside, and convenient pond out back to walk around. Takes pets for a fee.

I’ve been very pleased with this hotel for both short term and long term stays. When the renovations are complete this hotel will be outstanding.
They offer all the usuals but laundry and good internet ate both free. The fitness center is nice and all of the staff have been outstanding. I will continue to use this establishment.
