This is my favorite Great Clips. I drove over 20 minutes to get my hair cut here.
ALWAYS a great haircut! … FRIENDLY staff!.. and with the app HARDLY ever a wait!

Most of the «stylists» are nice, patient and listen very well and carefully to their clients. Ofelia on the other hand has cut my hair twice and both times I felt like she was baking something at the same time and trying to make sure her cake didn’t burn! I saw her there and against my better judgement decided to give her another chance. Ofelia blazed through my haircut like a starved man at a buffet! After it was «done» she kept insisting my hair was straight and it was merely shadows that made my hair look crooked and uneven (which my gf verified later that night it was indeed crooked and uneven). She seems like a nice lady but I will not let her cut my hair again.

I write this with sadness because they are very nice, very quick, and very personable when you get a haircut. Here’s where I’m starting to get angry. It is so unpredictable what kind of haircut you will get. My son has school pictures today and my husband told the woman ½ inch off, it’s an inch and it is too short and it doesn’t look good. Half the time you never know what you are going to get. Twice my daughter had to go back because it wasn’t straight in the back. I go there to save money because I need to and like I said, they are very, very nice but there needs to be some consistency with the cuts. I should have gone somewhere else for my son when the haircut really matters and now his pictures will have his hair too short and standing up on one side. Is there a good place to go in Elgin, IL where the price is equivalent or a little more? Especially for kids.

My 7 y/​o son got a haircut from a woman named Ana. My son began to cry as he did not like the haircut since it was shorter than he had expected. This woman was insensitive and offered no comforting remark. In fact, she was rude to ask me if he is an only child, implying that’s why my son acted upset! Manners should come with being a hairstylist!

Went there today after work. They took me right away, a lady by the name of Erica did my hair and she was really cool and I really like the way my hair turned out :). I will go back for sure, its on my way home from work, they do a great job, and they are not expensive. Also, go a coupon for an $ 8.99 hair cut on my next visit. This visit was $ 21 w/​tip (not bad for a hair cut you really like).
