Really bad service. Waited on the phone for over 20 min with still no help, and they overcharged me WITH the wrong kind of bill for my account. So ridiculous. At least the internet access has been decent, but if you get billing wrong, that’s pretty bad.

would be 0 stars if that had been possible. I had a Pay-as-you-go phone for several years(was Cingular then AT&T). BEWARE everyone. I was charged a lot a lot every month, $ 56+ for 600 minutes + free nights and weekends. After years of being a good paying customer, I finally found a better deal with Credo cell phone based in San Fran. So I ported the number over and disconnected the AT&T service. However, AT&T zinged me with a bill for the whole month($ 56) even though I had ended the service. I left the plan with $ 100+ in charges, as minutes credited on my phone. I tried to have them credit me the $ 56 by calling and talking to them so many times, I spent literally hours on that cause. I spoke with customer service people and even supervisors. The supervisors were the most rude of all! The men I spoke with were so unprofessional and disrespectful and arrogant. They yelled at me and told me I was not entitled to any refund, even though I had ended the service and was charged for receiving nothing. I was also transfered around a lot and put on hold with more than mildly irritating music for such long times that I hung up. All this after paying them literally thousands of dollars as a customer since 2001! Additionally, the service itself was bad, and I had many dropped calls and horrible connections. No problems with my new service Credo, carried on Sprint lines. I am disputing this $ 56 charge with them, through the BBB. I urge all cell phone users to avoid AT&T and their outrageous charges and horrible service.
