My PCP detected arthritis as probable cause of radicular pain in leg and foot. The PT immediately assumed it was a herniated disk. Put me in McKenzie stretched then left me in traction for 20 minutes. Upon further imaging spine doc picked up synovial cyst and likely stenosis. In meantime went to another PT biz. Based on age, new PT assumed it was unlikely to be herniation at my age and took an opposing view on McKenzie. Much more logical approach. Won’t go back to Perf Pt. too much reliance on faulty assumptions.
