Decent selection of fancy snack foods, cheeses, store made cheese dips, and meals to go. Fairly expensive, but decent quality. I got a few foods to go and was pleased with the quality. My one issue with the wedge salad was it had very few toppings. Typical ¼ head of lettuce, decent amount of blue cheese, then a small amount of bacon bits, 2 grape tomatoes sliced in half, and a few strands of onions. All fresh, but I was expecting a few more vegetables and toppings. Like maybe a few more tomatoes, carrots, and peppers.

Can’t go wrong with a local café that’s part of the iconic Back Burner.
If you don’t want to go for the typical Panera, or if you even just want to change it up from Capriotti’s or Two Cousins, check out BBTG. They’ve got a wide array of prepared foods that you can choose from to eat in or take out, and they’ve also got a full café menu that’s made to order. Everything from soups to sandwiches to salads. I typically get a sandwich (I like the turkey avocado, made with real turkey slices!), though I’ve also seen many people enjoying the soups on offer.
The staff is cheery and helpful, and the environment is homey — it feels like you’re in a lodge. It’s a great place to escape to on a rainy day or to get away for a while.

I discovered this café on accident while shopping next door at the Everything But the Kitchen Sink store (which is awesome, by the way!). I’ve eaten just about everything on the Back Burner to Go café’s menu — everything is amazing! One of my fav’s though is the Pumpkin-Mushroom Soup.
Oh, and you can sit in here — you don’t have to do take out. They have about 10 tables. Nice, nice, nice, place — and nice people here too!
When you dine here, take a Better Cheddar Cheese Ball to go. Your friends and family will LOVE you forever for it!!! LOL
