CVS Pharmacy

The pharmacists here are very caring and courteous. They’ve gone out of their way to help me on more than one occasion. Excellent! I’ve had good experiences with the rest of the store too. The managers care about customers and it shows.

I went to this store today, and indeed the parking lot was a (welcome) rarity for Hoboken.
Initially I wasn’t very impressed, since there were no carts — and when I asked one of the (two) cashiers if there were carts elsewhere in the store, she didn’t know. I had to wait quite awhile before she attempted to find out, although admittedly there were several customers waiting in line. She wasn’t unpleasant, but she had inertia — and finally I insisted she tell the manager I wanted to talk to him. He arrived quickly and he was *very* nice — and also quite apologetic, as he told me all of the carts had gradually been stolen when customers kept walking out with them (!). He hastened to add that more carts were on order and he hoped to have them soon. I told him I couldn’t carry around all the stuff I wanted to buy, so he rushed to the stockroom and got me one of the carts that employees use for restocking. He jokingly told me I was welcome to work at the store — but in all seriousness, it was very laborious pushing that thing around. Still, he was a really nice guy and the second cashier was friendly.

Sizeable CVS — comparable with the NYC ones — with apartment stuff that you’d never find at «suburban» CVS locations.

We all know what CVS features so makes this one different? First, there is a parking lot. Big deal in Hoboken. On the negative side, the lines are long. Long enough for me to question coming to the store sometimes. Probably a result of the available parking. But hey, its a CVS, it works.

GREAT service at the pharmacy and location conveniently has a parking lot connecting Willow/​Clinton streets so you don’t have to walk around the block.
If you go here for miscellaneous things you better have a black belt in self service checkout. There is pretty much never a human at the front registers. This seems to be a disease affecting many a CVS. Bad economy I guess

Pharmacist was incredibly nice and helpful… their systems were down and I needed antibiotics as I had taken a bad fall of my bike. She kindly gave me enough to get through the day and called me when their systems were up so I could pick up the rest of my medicine.

I like this CVS. The store has a wide variety of health care products and home supplies. Generally they have good prices. I usually find everything that I want.
