Mr. Sweets Games & Candy

Went on a game night a few weeks back, ignore previous reviewer in my opinion. Place was totally fun! I am generally shy and it was a scheduled game night (pay attention to to their board, other reviewer? They have tournament nights.) I was standing outside just looking in and they waved us in, it was amazingly fun. we didn’t stay too long, but long enough to browse and buy some card packs and dice for our tabletop game. Hopefully I won’t be too shy to go back again and actually join a game/​bring our own. It’s a nice space for the opportunity to make friends.

So, im a pretty easy going guy that likes to dabble in the geekyer sides of things once in a while. My friend mentions a place in hobart, called Mr sweets. I lol’ed at the name, then decided to check it out. My girlfriend and I drove to hobart a couple weeks back and wasn’t happy with the experience in the slightest. The good things I could say is that had a nice selection. a good amount of table space. The bad, the place looked like a flea market. The employees were too busy playing a video game to greet us. so we wandered around a little then I saw something an went to look at it. It was then, and only then did the manager stop playing the video game. He went over immediately to my girlfriend and started talking to her. I saw it and walked over and he saw me and stopped. My girlfriend wanted to leave immediately after that. When we got back in the truck I asked what happened, she told me when we got back home that he asked her to come back after hours. She said that he kept propositioning her, telling her that he can teach her later, or if she wants to get together later. It took everything in my power not to drive back there and beat his ass. just steer clear of this place, manager is a total douchebag.
