My wife and I enjoy staying in bed and breakfasts. We were leery of the guest house at first since it was difficult to find on the internet. We were extremely pleased with everything about it once we arrived. The remodel in 2007 was beautifully done. The Kathleen Suite was perfect for my wife, two daughters and I. Although most of the furnishings were authentic and antique, they were tastefully redone and everything worked. The lighting fixtures, the air conditioning, ceiling fans, the modern locks for the doors, and the beautifully redesigned kitchen were perfect. Since we were on a week long road trip we were pleasantly surprised that the house had two full size washers and dryers available for guests to use(including soap and fabric softener). The next day we discovered that the Kenneth Suite had its own washer and dryer inside. We were called the day before we arrived and asked what kind of quiche we wanted. It was was custom made for us the day before our arrival. The next morning we popped it into the oven, followed the directions and baked it for 15 minutes at 450 degrees and we had one of the most delicious quiches ever! Add that the price is very reasonable, the house is extremely clean and Hinton is a cool little town, I wish we could have stayed longer.
