We had Taste of Home cater a dinner and poker party for 30 people last night and everything was perfect. The food was excellent (many people comment on how much they liked it) and the price was reasonable. They arrived on time and got everything set up quickly. I was impressed by their menu and other offerings (e.g. tables and chairs for the poker match). They were very helpful and accommodating to make it a perfect night for our event.

I have been using Taste of Home Catering for over 10 years to cater in Christmas lunch for my clients. Every time, they hit it out of the park! The food is amazing, the service impeccable. My clients always ask where I order from and rave about the food. The theme menu’s are spot on and after ordering each theme at least once, Donna will also mix and match their theme’s up for you. I would never go anywhere else. Donna and her staff will come downtown for me, head to the west and north suburbs or anywhere else I ask them to go! They are amazing!!!

I have been using Taste of home catering for over 5 years. They cater my top clients luncheons for Christmas and the raves and reviews from these 500 people are always the same «they love the service and food!» I never look anywhere else! Donna is the most helpful in helping me decide the perfect menu. The food arrives on time, hot and delicious. They provide everything, just pick upthe phone and call. They are number one!

Sadly I cannot recommend Taste of Home Catering at this time. We contacted them about catering an open house event and set up a meeting to discuss. They showed up half an hour late to the meeting (they had obviously forgotten about it.) We discussed a menu, budget, even picked out table linens. We were told we would receive a proposal via email.
The proposal never came, so I followed up by email, and then by phone. Nothing. Not one word back from them. Perhaps our event wasn’t large enough for them to bother with? I have no idea. I just know that I was not about to chase them down.
We found another local caterer that ended up with the job and they did an amazing job (see my profile for that recommendation).

I catered from here for my aunt’s birthday party for almost 60 people. Daniel was a pleasure to work with. He was so helpful in the decision making process and making suggestions. The «Dreaming of the Tropics» buffet was delicious. We received so many compliments about the food and desserts. I was very happy overall and would definitely recommend Taste of Home Catering!
