I have been going to Shiny Nails in Hinsdale for over 4 years now. The spa is extremely clean and modern. The nail technicians are well trained. They provide healthy professional care to their clients. They regularly add new pampering treatments to their menu. I couldn’t be happier.

I was disappointed with this place. Wanted to like it since its so close to work but can’t give it more than 1 star. Not sure if I got an inexperienced pedicurist but she nipped my cuticles (painfully) and seemed annoyed when I told her. She wasn’t even careful to not swab it later with alcohol or nail polish remover before painting. Ouch! Then on top of that, when she painted my nails she didn’t go up to the cuticle. Not even close. It looks like I have a full week’s worth of growth and I just got my pedi today. Wish I had not tipped on that $ 30 pedicure.

Went to Shine Nails for the first time yesterday. I came in as a walk in and taken right away. The price was a bit more expensive than others in the area but well worth it. I received both a pedicare and manicure and it was a spa experience with both. I have never received a arm/​hand massage with an acrylic nail mani but they did it. Even while I was waiting for my nails to dry, I received a neck and shoulder massage. I will definately go back and recommend to others. Stella did a great job on my pedi!

Went here as something to do while I wait for the husband to get out of work. Very impressed with the customer service! Loved all the massages. And their work is good. I think it is more just a manicure and pedicure place (as they might all be here since we just moved here I am unsure) but they did a great job on my acrylics and my pedicure. The price was a little more than this country bumpkin is use to but it’s not something I do all the time so it worked out fine.

Great place and reasonably priced. I used to go to a higher end salon in Hinsdale for pedicures, but I tried this place since I drive past it all the time. Wow! Great pedi and mani service for less than half the price of the other salon! I have been back four or five times, and have had great service every time. All of the technicians are extremely polite and friendly. It is very clean, and the massage chairs are actually better than those at the fancy salon. In fact, sometimes I go for the chair and consider the pedi an added bonus!

I love this place! It is right by my house, so that is obviously a huge plus to me, but it is still very accessible. They just opened, so they only have 3 technicians right now as they are not super packed. All 3 are incredibly friendly, accommodating and skilled. The place is very clean and spacious. They offer you tea and the waiting area is huge with comfortable chairs. They massage your shoulders while your nails dry. And finally, they are cheap!!! On Wednesdays a mani/​pedi is $ 28. I really cannot say anything negative about this place.

Great Nail Salon. VERY friendly nail technicians, great décor. For a pedicure they do a quick «scrub» as part of the massage, which was to die for. They also do a great shoulder massage while you wait to have your manicure or pedicure dry. The instruments that they used were taken out of an autoclave pouch, (a method of sanitizing). They even walked me to the door, and said thank you. I was offered iced tea when I sat down. Will definitely return.
