I been to this place sooooooo many times and every time, ITISAMAZING. I recommend the tie dynamite or the chicken low mainge, Both great options!

I’ve eaten at Pei Wei for the final time. While they do have the Coke machine of the future, the food quality is just not there. I had sushi and eggrolls. The sushi was just average, and the eggrolls were the greasiest, nastiest egg rolls I’ve ever had at any Chinese restaurant. The teenage girl that took our order had no clue what she was doing either. They also seem to have problems getting food out to the correct tables. It’s a shame, there was a lot of potential here, but they just couldn’t execute.

This place has changed my life. For being a ‘fast-food’ type of place with Asian cuisine, it doesn’t get any better than this. I’ve tried 4 different dishes from here so far and they’ve all been amazing. The Caramel chicken is the bomb, but the Honey Seared dish is a close second favorite of mine. They’re fast, too. But the best part for me was that I didn’t get very many ‘weird’ pieces of meat. You know how you go to Panda Express and if you get the Orange Chicken, you’re going to end up with a lot of questionable chunks of meat. That’s not the case at Pei Wei. They’re definitely going to change the ‘fast’ Asian cuisine game — I can’t recommend this place enough.

I recently ate at Pei Wei for the first time. It was dirty… yuk. Looks like it hasn’t had a good scrubbing in awhile. Food was average. Heavy on the rice and very light on the chicken. Not a bargain either. The staff was friendly enough and the food was prepared quickly I don’t think I would go back.

I have been wanting to try this chain restaurant. So I finally ordered two different rolls of sushi and two different rice boys to share amongst three people. It was disgusting. The sushi was refrigerated and the rice bowls were just awful. Waste of 32 bucks. I am never going back. The quality was worse then picking up pre packaged food from the grocery store.

This is my second time here, and it wasn’t that great. The eating area was dirty, I ordered the pad Thai and it was super greasy and the flavor wasn’t good… I’m not coming back

We used to love this place but the quality of the food has deteriorated immensely. The teriyaki chicken was tough and swimming in sauce. I watched them make the dish and they were so busy they were hustling to get orders out and didn’t seem to take the time to more accurately watch what they were doing. I would rather go to PF Changs or find another place where the entrée is not 2⁄3 rice and the rest a gooey mess of sauce and overcooked chicken. I tossed more than 50% of my order and I hate to waste food. Plus they forgot to include the dressing for my wife’s salad. There’s better choices out there… gotta find one.

I was so disappointed by the quality of food at this place. I remember years ago when p f Changs hit the market their quality control was top notch No longer the case the food was terrible sub standard I don’t think they will make it. Good luck One positive note the bus boy was very nice polite and professional

My first order from here was only appetizers and they were quite good. Tasty chicken lettuce wraps and crab Rangoon. The Rangoon has a nice option for diff sizes which is good if you’re only ordering for one. The entrée I recently tried on my second visit was not good. Pretty nasty Mongolian beef… dry, tough pieces of questionable beef, very little sauce. Not tasty, after two bites I threw it away. I’ll go back when craving lettuce wraps or Rangoon, but will pass on entrees from here.

I never do fast Asian Fast food, but today we had a wonderful experience trying Pei Wei Asian fusion fast food. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl. I ordered the small and wished I would have ordered the large because it was so incredible. My husband ordered Dan Dan which tasted amazing too. I recommend you try it for lunch first.

Came in for a quick lunch and the first thing I noticed was that almost all the tables were full and they were busy. They have all the popular Asian favorites such as orange chicken, pad Thai, Mongolian beef plus sides such as lettuce wraps and sushi. You place your order at the counter, choose your rice or noodles plus your meat, pay, take a seat and they bring your food to your table. I chose simple chicken and brown veggie rice. Can’t go wrong, right? Umm no. The chicken was drowning in a sticky sweet goey sauce and the rice was ok. For a few extra bucks, literally, you can go elsewhere for Asian fusion and get way better quality food. Think Benihana if your in the area. Really not flavorful nor quality food. On a positive note, the service was quick and friendly.

Had a Pad Thai with beef yesterday(or as they say, ‘steak’) Worst. Food. Ever. The noodles were like overcooked slimy spaghetti, mired in a goo that reminded me of school lunch stew, but super-sweet like that orange sweet-and-sour from a cheap Chinese buffet place. Never had a taste like that from any Asian place, and hope to never again. It arrived in about 2 minutes, so I think it was actually ‘assembled’ and reheated, not cooked fresh as they boast. No crunch or snap from any of the ingredients, Stupidly tried the left-overs for lunch today thinking it can’t be that bad. It can.

Dirty dining room and not enough staff cleaning, multiple tables sitting for long periods without being bussed. We asked one staff member to bus a table for us and still had to stand around waiting while she delivered several tables worth of food. Then had to wait 30+ min for okayish food. Apparently their POS system was not printing orders to the kitchen and they chose to wait a very long time to tell us this and asked to see our receipts again to actually prep the food(my spicy dish was very mild but sort of expected). Several other tables and takeout orders just got fed up and asked for refunds. Will not be returning, really not worth it for noodles and company level food.

A step above Panda Express, a few steps below PF Chang’s(who is affiliated with Pei Wei). Typical American, fast food type Chinese… if that makes sense. Nothing spectacular and nothing too horrible. I probably wouldn’t come back if it weren’t for my husband who likes the Pad Thai here every now and then. We came in this past Sunday night and it was packed with to go orders. I waited 20 minutes past my pick up time to get my food. My pick up time was 5:10 and I got back into my car at 5:31. I feel for the workers there at the time though. There was a large catering order and 8 online orders(one of which was mine) and we were all waiting a long time to get our food because there were only two people working to get the orders boxed up. It didn’t look like the kitchen was having problems keeping up, it was the cash wrap area. I’ve been in their position with bad management before so I didn’t complain. It was not fun waiting for 20 minutes though… I’ve been here several times before and this was the first time I had this problem so hopefully it won’t become a trend.

My husband and I visited Pei Wei, Kingery Highway, Willowbrook for the first time back on August 30, 2015 — really disappointed in the quality of the food and lack-of-cleanliness in the dining room. Been there, done that, not going back. The restaurant is set up like Panera Bread… stand in line, place your order at the counter, receive a number, and then sit down at a table and wait 20 minutes or so for your food. I ordered the Orange Peel entrée, which is marked ‘spicy.’ It was neither orange-y nor spicy. My husband ordered the Pei Wei Spicy with chile vinegar, which is marked ‘spicy.’ It was vinegar-y but not spicy. I had the white rice, which was disappointingly American-style light fluffy jasmine rice, not the sticky rice I would expect in an Asian restaurant. Tough to eat American-style fluffy rice with chopsticks. Both entrees were drowning in gravy. Although, I was happy that they include some vegetables – carrots and pea pods – in the entrees. Spring Rolls were crispy and minimally greasy. Overall, the food at Pei Wei is the same you get at any other run-of-the-mill Chinese take-out restaurant. It could be nice for workday lunchtime if you just want a bit of Chinese food without leftovers. My other disappointment at Pei Wei was how dirty the dining room tables and chairs were, considering the restaurant wasn’t even busy. But who cares about cleanliness when you can just stand around the kitchen socializing with coworkers, right?!

Pei Wei, what the hell happened? I get that it’s been a while since I was here, but wow, what a comedown. First, service needs some help. I specified twice to the girl taking my order that I just wanted water when she asked if I wanted a drink. The line was piling up so of course they shove you along. I got go the table thinking the bill seemed high… sure enough, charged two bucks for a drink! But since I would have had to get back in that line it wasn’t worth the argument. Pay attention(twice!)… Also, apparently they don’t do the«stock velveting» anymore(cooking in stock vs oil, which made a dish lighter), because when I asked they acted like I was requesting something totally bizarre. Never mind, sorry I broke your brain. If you order appetizers be aware that they may come at the end of your meal(or almost not at all: when one of the dishes was delivered the server said, «So that’s everything?» Um, no, we still were waiting for spring rolls, please don’t take our number yet…) I just wasn’t super impressed with the food this time either(though maybe it is partly because it came with a hint of annoyance). The spring rolls and crab wontons were good and I like that you can choose the number you get(2, 4 or 6). We also got the limited time kung pao shrimp sushi roll but honestly it was forgettable(and I am a big fan of kung pao). I got the caramel chicken again but wasn’t as good as I recall(again, maybe due to different cooking method). It is nice to have the choice of small or large size(but a big portion of the small consists of a huge heap of rice). Overall, this trip made it obvious that it isn’t worth the trek across town for me to come back. You can get most of the same meals in a more polished setting at PF Chang’s(their parent company), and probably skip the hassle and confusion of the ordering and serving process here.

Panda Express’ classy older sibling. This«Americanized» Chinese pseudo-chain provides more than a touch of flair to a variety of appealing menu items. GETTHELETTUCEWRAPS! The traditional wraps are an absolute must-order on any visit here. Low in carbs, high in protein, and tremendous flavor makes it one of the best shared appetizers you can get in any restaurant around. Entrees are equally good, I’ve yet to be disappointed by a teriyaki beef or pineapple chicken. Portions are on the larger side, although they’ve begun offering smaller sizes which is nice. That being said, their sushi game was decidedly weak. $ 3.50 for 4 ‘rolls’, several of which were on the anemic side. I could make better sushi than what I was given here. ‘Course, goes to show me for ordering Japenese at an American Chinese restaurant…#myownfault But! They offer a decent selection of bottled beers, domestic and imported, as well as wine by the glass and bottle! A large Sapporo ran me $ 7, but it was a 600mL bottle so I didn’t feel entirely ripped-off. Plus points for having a Coke Freestyle machine and several tea dispensers. Food comes out quickly and the interior has been relatively clean on most occasions. I’m not entirely surprised that Pei Wei’s are a subsidiary of P.F. Chang’s, given the quality(and similarity) of items. My family loves coming here when we tire of our tried-and-true neighborhood Golden Bowl. 4.5÷5, and I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because past visits have been generally consistent and splendid overall. Highly recommended for those in the mood for orange chicken but don’t want to roll the dice on some sub-par chunks of mystery meat at the local Panda.

Owned by PF Changs. You get PF Chang’s quality food for half the price. Great for casual atmosphere and great tasting food. Kung Pao Shrimp is breaded and to die for.

This was my first time here having never heard of this place before. With that said I gave it a shot. The menu had a basic outlay that you pick a protein, pick a rice or vegetable stir fry and then a sauce. You get the idea. My son got really wild and went with the chicken fried rice. And the crowd ROARS! I tried the crunchy wasabi rolls(sushi). After ordering you sit down with a number and the staff delivers your food. It took a bit(so impatient) and when the food items arrived they came one at a time. Me no like… I want everyone to get their food together. That was my only gripe. After eating you leave your plates on the table… painless.
