Deep Creek Art

I have used Deep Creek Art for my framing needs for years and can not say enough about the owner’s eye for color and design! I trust her completely and have never been disappointed. Prices for framing are reasonable and the quality has always been just perfect.
I have never taken an art class with her but have walked through quite a few she’s held for children. Clearly she loves what she does and has patience galore!

So my friend had purchases a living social coupon for the two of us to take a water color class at this small downtown gallery/​shop. Since the two of us love trying new things and being creative we were excited to give it a shot.
As usual time slipped away from us and we waited longer than we should have to use the coupon.
We tried to book the classes online but the website is horrific. No information about registering or hours of operation.
When you call the gallery no one answers and when you leave a message no one calls back.
When we finally got a hold of the lady that runs the studio she asked for us to call back because she is too busy with all the calls for classes!
We decided to see her face to face and make an appointment to use the coupon and it took her 20 minutes to just aknowledge we were in her small space. She was helping another customer so we waited and waited. Once the customer left we had to hound her to talk to us. And after asking for an opening to teach us she gave us only 2 dates that worked for her. In the middle of the day when most people work!
We left very unhappy and called living social for a refund but they couldn’t help us because the coupon had expired and she had extended the expiration on her own.
I think she recieved a call from living social because when we tried calling her again she made time for us.
The class it self was ok. She showed us some basic techniques and helped us paint a nice picture of our choice.
I think it has been the worst coupon experience I’ve had. Never the less my friend and I will continue our art adventures… just not here!
