My husband and I have been customers of Rachel for 25 years. At our 10th wedding anniversary, Rachel designed a new engagement ring, it was stunning and I enjoyed it very much. For our 25th wedding anniversary, we wanted Rachel to design another ring to commemorate our love, and Rachel designed the most unique and beautiful ring I have ever seen. The service, detail, personal attention you get from Browning and Sons, is something that just doesn’t exist elsewhere. Rachel and her son John are professional, detailed, and really listen to their customers. I take all my jewelry here for cleaning, new batteries for watches, to have prongs checked on my other rings. It’s like visiting friends when you go into their store. Thank you Rachel and John for being our neighborhood store where you are treated special.

I bought a Michelle watch at the annual sidewalk sale and paid over 1200.00
For it and it fell apart in less than 4 months. They accused me of dropping it
Which I did not. They wanted to charge me to send it back to Michelle and
Said I would have to pay for the repair whatever it would be. I was surprised
How poorly they treated a customer and how rude the woman was. I would be out of business if I treated my customers that way. I will never step foot
In that place again!

We have been going to Rachel for all our Jewelry needs for years. She is very knowledgable and has been in the business for many years! I would definitely recommend going to see her if you have any jewelry needs and are in Hinsdale. Also her son Johnny is a great resource that knows a ton about the business. Definitely a great store that has exceptional service and fine Jewelry! I would recommend Browning & Sons over Razney for any jewelry needs in Hinsdale.

Customer service is non existent. My husband and I have purchased jewelry from them and they were all smiles, but when I brought a ring in that needed sizing that wasn’t purchased from them, I was treated as though I were an unwanted visitor. When I received the ring back from them there was a crack in it that wasnt there prior. I brought it back in and they were brusk and dismissive. It took 3 weeks to make a simple repair which was caused by them yet they still charged me $ 35 since we didn’t buy the ring from them plus the $ 60 to size the ring. Very very rude and discourteous.
