Whitney Gordon’s Jewelers

Very happy with the service I received at Whitney Gordon’s Jewelers. I went in at noon on a Tuesday to get 5 watch batteries replaced and they were finished within 30 minutes. Each battery replacement cost $ 10 which is very reasonable.

Stopped in to Whitney Gordan’s to get a new battery for my watch. Not only did the whole transaction take under 5 minutes, but they charged me half of what Hingham Jewelers, at the other end of town, was going to charge me for the exact same battery. Excellent service and prices!

I really like to support local businesses in my town, especially non-​chain stores. Whitney Gordon’s Jewelers is a little bit of a throwback to another era in jewelry stores. You won’t find anything funky, or particularly unique which is usually how I like to roll in the jewelry dept. However, if you like more traditional jewelry for yourself or as a gift, this place should certainly be on your list of places to go in Hingham. You will also find excellent customer service and that is always a big plus. I come here primarily to get batteries put in my watches and for jewelry repair. .everything always done with a smile. I have bought a few presents as gifts for friends out of state; things like sterling silver sand-​dollars and starfish pendants that represent the coastal area we live in here. This store has been around a very long time and they do aim to please.
