Lido Juice Bar

I give this place 3 stars for one reason that really pissed me off. I was and have been (still kind of am) a frequent customer there. There juices and shakes are delicious and super healthy which is awesome because I’m sort of a health freak. This is the reason why I’m giving thus place 3 stars. I was waiting for my juice with my sister who ordered a smoothie. There were new employees there who were obviously getting trained by one of the managers. It was obvious they were new and very nervous. Totally understandable. They were taking a little longer to make the drinks, but I’ve been working in the food industry for quite some time now. When I first started I was slow and people were very patient with me. Being slow was perfectly fine with me. It was normal to be kind of slow and ask me some questions about how I like it. Also may I just add, they have alot of options and there drinks are kind of complicated to make. They have alot of ingredients. But that is not the reason I give 3 stars. The manager training the young new employees (who could not have been older than 16 or 17) was incredibly rude and was yelling at her for messing up one drink and taking too long. We are not perfect. And to mess up ONE drink while your brand new is totally expected. Not only was it incredibly uncalled for, but he did it in front of customers! I can’t even imagine how he treats them not in front of customers. I was very angry. I am a manager and train people all the time. I would never ever treat my employees with that amount of disrespect. When I was new at my job I made quite a few mistakes. My boss never ever treated me like that. I was so mad I said something to not only him, but the other manager. Other than this, I have no complaints about the drinks of even their food.

We ordered two juice drinks which were both tasty and freshly made. One was a beet, carrot and apple drink that we created from a number of fruit and vegetable choices. The second was a peach-​based smoothie that also contained banana, almond milk and dates. I look forward to returning and trying their other various juice and smoothie drinks. The shop was clean, bright and inviting.
