Caraglios Pizza

I recommend you think more then twice because I didn’t multiple trips to Hilton
Cariglios with multiple disappointing experiences several hundred $ I learned my lessons 10 fold if you aren’t hungry and don’t need your $ then I recommend cariglios if you are hungry and don’t like to waste $ try some other place !!.

I’ve ordered here consistently for a few years but lately the service is way down. The last 5 times I have called (always at least 1 hour until close) they have told me they aren’t delivering. I spent my teen years at a pizza shop so I can appreciate what they do, but refusing a delivery an hour before close is nuts. They must be making more money than they know what do with because they turn down my business. We ordered a few weeks ago and was told they don’t deliver so we asked for pickup. My girlfriend got there 30 minutes before close to pick it up and one of the punk employees asked «dude I thought we’d be outta here by now» right in front of her to show his distain. And now the icing on the cake — I ordered at 8:30 PM tonight (1.5hrs before close on a Saturday) and was told I am not close enough to town to be delivering this late. I hope the owner knows his «managers» are actively turning down orders and pushing recurring customers away. It’s pontillos for me now, as they happily took my order after caraglios wouldn’t.

We are right on the border of this Caraglio’s location and the North Greece location, and I always would order from Greece and my fiancé would order from Hilton. There was no real reason for this, it just would happen to be the number we each pulled up.
We never had a good experience with Hilton. Their delivery time was INSANE. They would quote 45 minutes and not show up for an hour and a half and our pizza would be cold. We would call and inquire as to where our food was and we would never get a straight answer– they didn’t know where the driver was, or the driver was out on a long delivery and ours was the 4^th on his list so it should be there soon, it went out 20 minutes ago, etc.
My fiancé and I both spent our teen years working in pizza shops, so we are always patient and sympathetic. But sending a driver on 4 deliveries at once?! The pizza is pretty much guaranteed to be freezing when it arrives.
Our last order to them was while we had about 10 people over one night. We ordered a sheet and 50 wings. 90 minutes later, our order arrived (again, quoted at 45 minutes) and our pizza was totally not cooked through– it was totally doughy throughout. I called and asked for a new pizza– they said we needed to stop eating the pizza we had gotten in order to return it to them and wait another 45 minutes. What? We have 10 hungry people who already had grabbed pizza and were trying to eat the edible bits. I understand that people everywhere try to get free food and returning the pizza was a way to ensure that we were not getting 2 sheet pizzas for the price of 1, but that just seemed to me to be horrible customer service– return the chewed around, raw pizza and wait for a new one so that only 1 pizza is received. They insisted, so we had to have our guests stop eating the pizza, load the half eaten pieces back into the box and wait more.
So, I don’t hate Caraglio’s by any means. We still order consistently but we only use the North Greece location. Better quality, better employees and better service.

This is great pizza, calzones, wings, subs… One of my favorites is the plate pizza. A mess, but awesome.

Well we went back again to see if there was any change. NOT –Ordered steak subs and the cheese was barley visible and there was no meat on 2 inches on both sides.
There is no way the owner would let this happen or does not care, Thats it for this place.

Ahhh pizza. In my family, pizza is always the solution to the weekend dinner. My husband and I tend to think of pizza as a wonderful meal that should be treated with respect and given multiple hours for prep and cooking time, with the results resembling more a lasagna than a flat bread. We usually need forks. For now, though, as we wait for escrow to close (what takes them so long!!!), pizza is delivered in a cardboard box in 30 minutes or less. If you’re familiar with Western New York pizza you know you don’t need a fork. I mean, you could use a fork, it’ll keep your fingers clean of the grease, but it’s entirely possible to eat a slice with your hands. So, along comes Saturday evening after a long day of yard sales (Browncroft neighborhood yard sale — look it up, it was amazing), washing the cars, and forgetting what time it is. Since my parents live far from most options, Caraglios is our choice (only?) for delivery.
Pepperoni and a sausage, pepperoni, sweet peppers, onions. Delivered. My mom got the bill so I’m not sure what the total was, but I think it usually comes to about $ 30. It’s not cheap, but not awful, either. It comes to the door, that’s really all that mattered.
Maybe I had waited too long to eat, maybe I worked up an appetite finding super amazing awesome deals on two (2!!!) wingback chairs, maybe I’ve got a miserable cold and food in general is a miracle drug, but my first bite of the «supreme» was divine. I took my time savoring each bite, mostly because I can’t breath through my nose, but also because it was actually really good. We’ve gotten this pizza before, and I’d say tonight’s was their best by far. The crust was thick and soft, the sauce was flavorful, the toppings were evenly distributed, not overly greasy. Even the delivery guy was nice. 2 large pizzas filled 6 adults.
If it wasn’t for the previous not-​perfect experiences, I would have a hard time not awarding that 5^th star.

The pepperoni pizza was original and delish. The sauce here is better than other places I’ve tried in the area. Must try the boneless chicken wings with the gold BBQ sauce.

I’ve only had their buffalo chicken pizza and it was rather unremarkable. They seem to try make up in quantity for what they lack in quality. Be prepared for the biggest single slice of pizza you’ve ever seen but for it to be only OK.

Ordered from here the other day with the fam because my bratty cousin insisted upon it. I haven’t had this pizza in a while, but I’m still not much of a fan. There was way too much cheese and grease and the sauce was kind of strangely flavored. I remember liking it for the most part a few years ago, but either my pizza tastes have changed, or they changed their recipe. They’re both good possibilities. The pepperoni was decent, though a little harder than I usually like. All in all, it was okay, but I’d prefer pizza from somewhere else next time.
