Roy’s Place Cafe & Catering

I planned a surprise dinner for my boyfriend on the beach from Columbus, OH. I can not express how wonderful Roy, Becky and John were in creating a unforgettable evening. I communicated through email, because I did not want my boyfriend to catch on to the surprise. He is not an easy one to pull things over on and with help from his sister and brother in– law, Roy, Becky and John, mission complete! Roy and Becky really made sure that everything from the beginning to end exceeded my expectations. Roy helped me create a meal that included my boyfriends favorites, never even being bothered with changes I made. Becky did a wonderful job of creating a beautiful setting from the tiniest detail to the tiki torches. There are pictures located on their Facebook page. John, the Chef, he also served us, did a fabulous job preparing the food, presentation and serving. I was really pressed for time and unable to complete something I wanted for our dinner, Becky and Roy to the rescue! Not only was the best, romantic evening I have ever planned for us, but my boyfriend is still amazed! If you are looking for something really special to do for someone, this is the place and the people to do it above anyone’s expectations. Roy’s Place Catering catered my outdoor wedding on Hilton Head Island. Despite my wedding being a rather small even for Roy’s company (less than 50 people), Roy met with us in person, helped us select a venue, was extremely personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and delivered on exactly what we discussed. Roy had a lot of ideas and resources that were very helpful for our planning. At the actual event, Roy’s people could not have been more professional, fast, hard-​working, and friendly. The event went off with out any problems and the food was absolutely wonderful (including the salmon which, despite having a very limited kitchen at the venue, was cooked to perfection). Prices were reasonable, and the service was above expectations. Highly recommend!

Roy catered two family outing with low country boil and pulled pork. Perfect for our crowds of 18 and 15! It was awesome!!!
