We really enjoyed coming here. The beach is cleaner here than Tybee Beach and the sand seems whiter. They have clean bathrooms and a really nice water-system for cleaning off. There were people playing volleyball, some other kind of game, and a lot of people having fun. We enjoyed ourselves and would come back!

Very wide, open beach. Nice sands, can get a bit windy. Typical dunes. Water is not clear as we are used to which can be a bit intimidating– for some reason I can swim in a lake no problem, but murkey ocean water is sketchy to me. For the area it’s a high 3 to 4 star spot.

Gorgeous beach area — wide beach, not crowded, great for long walks. Access is great with the boardwalk leading to a covered pathway suitable for wheel chair access. The parking is great with most metered places in the shade. The restroom is terrific, clean, and with granite counter tops! Spectacular!
