This is a nice place to see some upper-mediocre to quite interesting and lovely art from local artists. Most genres are covered; from oil paintings of local birds and landscapes, to photographs of Hawaii and beyond, to pottery, to jewelry, etc. Additionally, there are restrooms on the lower floor and wheelchair accessibility to the upper floor. AND it’s free. :-) The bad news is they are usually(though not always) closed on the weekends and national holidays. The space is open and airy with lots of room to meander. The artwork is presented well and is mostly all on the upper floor. There is a small room on the lower floor that also has a display. The building is not very large and viewing a showing will probably take 15 – 20 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend going far out of your way to visit the center. BOTTOMLINE: If you’re in the area anyway and have 15 minutes to spare, give them a visit.
