ive known nancy for some years now… she has repaired or covered up many of my tats.. although its been yrs… i still have an ongoing coverup with her… unfortunatley distance has made the completion impossible… but im sure one day i will make it back to her shop… class act all the way!

I am so glad my husband and I ended up finding Habitat Tattoo on our vacation. Nancy is amazing, super accommodating, and talented. We had a great experience and love our tattoos. Hope to get to go back some time soon!

Love the vibe i get from your establishment, from you, and the music you play, today after 17 years of being with my man i decided to bring my man and baby girl along to get my mans name tatted on my body, you have to think very hard if you want your partners name on your body, to me doing thst is like wedding vows man, it was very emotinal for me and i teared here and there because the meaning behind it, the love, and i am blessed that nancy was apart of that, she is sooooo wonderful, down to earth and i felt a sisterly connection with her, we shared stories and i felt so comfortable with her, i looove music and the particular genre she likes i like too, nancy is a beatiful person, she has all types of interesting pictures and art and stickers… One thst made me laugh on her mirror lol!!! … Her work… Beautiful!!! Herman felt a good vibe from her and he liked her, and believe me if herman likes you den you da bomb if you know my herman lol! It was cute she paid attention to my daughter and gave her color pencils and paper to keep her busy while she sat with daddy, she has beautiful children of her own so that helped tons, Yup!!! 100%+100% satisfaction!!! I will be going back, annnd she will be the only one to tat me other then dave from rainbow 6 years ago, this will be my 2^nd tat, im picky i guess on who tsts me, and so far im happy with my choices, mahalo nan darling! And malama pono.

So thrilled with our experience here and we feel lucky to have met and used Nancy for my husband’s tattoo. He had most of his sleeve drawn from many different places over the last ten years or so. One was a very well-​known shop in San Diego. They were expensive and they drew the scales on his koi fish in the wrong direction. My husband was very discouraged and hadn’t had any new work done in a long time.
Nancy fixed the scales, and colored in his Koi and it looks awesome! She takes her time and does an excellent job shading and coloring. She also did some water on the top of his arm and the colors are so vibrant. Nancy was very patient with him and helped come up with the best designs to complement the work he already had done. He is SO happy with the outcome!
She is VERY reasonable with her prices and my husband thinks she is the best tattoo artist he has ever worked with. He plans to let her finish the rest of his sleeve and maybe do some other work while we are on the island.
Nancy is a really cool person. We enjoyed visiting with her and also the great reggae music she played in the shop. :) Two other guys that work with my husband are having work done by her too. They have both been very pleased with Nancy as well. We highly recommend Habitat Tattoo to anyone looking to have work done in the Hilo area!

As a newlywed gift, my husband and I decided to get tattoos during our honeymoon on the Big Island. I got my tattoo done by Nancy, after a referral from one of the locals in Kona.
Absolutely no regrets whatsoever. This was my very first tattoo. Her staff was very friendly and helpful as I figured out the final design. Nancy was very patient with the changes and adjustments I kept making to the drawing.
When it came time to sit down under the needle, she was very aware of my anxiety and did absolutely everything to alleviate my fears. The entire process took only 20 minutes. She was quick, clean and efficient.
It’s been about 2 weeks since I’ve gotten my tattoo, and it’s perfect! I followed her instructions and it’s healed wonderfully. No puffiness and no scarring. The tattoo looks clean and very well «drawn».
As an added bonus, Nancy plays the best reggae mixes! She was very generous to us and gave us copies of her husband’s mixes. I still want her mixes because I jammed to them throughout my tattoo process and my husband’s 3 hour process.
I also give her extra stars for being so accommodating to us. My sister, my husband and I got tattoos — no pre-​drawn designs, all on a whim. My husband got a full sleeve done, and she took it on despite the work already done and the lateness of the hour. She’s the best!!!
