Affordable Painters

Affordable painters is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever hired. I bought a living social coupon for one room and hired them to paint another (two rooms in total). The contract called for two coats of paint in each room and we were to supply the paint. We provided one gallon of paint and one gallon of tinted primer. Upon figuring out that one coat was a primer, he called me at work to say it was an extra $ 35 per room. Asking why it would cost more, he gave the logical reasoning of «it causes me to wash the paintbrushes twice.» As a compromise I said I would supply brand new brushes, rollers, trays and clean them out, so it wouldn’t cause him any extra time. He again said no and went on to tell me he was going to call LivingSocial, tell them to refund our money because he doesn’t want to deal with us and abruptly hung up the phone. I called back repeatedly with no answer as he was in the house all alone while we were at work. Needless to say I rushed home in panic b/​c my home was open to the public and surprise surprise there was not a painter in sight. In short: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
