Repeat your order multiple times and speak very slowly. Will tell you how the food is, whenever I get it. Almost had to give my order a second time after calling it in, but lucky one of the «chefs» in the back recognized it. This review is for service, I will review the food later.

Very decent Chinese food. Price is perfect, portion is good, flavor could be better. I love egg rolls, and there’s just aren’t very good. Also I ordered mine «extra spicy» and it was like they heard me say «not spicy please».
This place is very convenient as I can walk there, but that’s really the only reason I go.

Dong’s is the BEST tasting Chinese food in Hillsborough. Best dishes are steamed dumplings, boneless spare ribs, Chicken with Broccoli and Shrimp and eggplant with garlic sauce. Dong’s has catered a few parties I’ve had too.

Hillsborough has many Chinese takeout places. Unfortunately, virtually all of them rival Panda Express for bland, mass produced takeout crap.
Dong’s is one of the few in the area that actually give you a slight step above what has become a black hole for decent Chinese takeout.
You can do better than Dong’s but you’ll be driving for awhile to get there if you live in Hillsborough. Hence the 4 stars for just above average takeout.
Really wish they delivered.

If you want fast, cheap, typical, and edible Chinese food, then this is your place! They are great in a pinch when you need a good meal fast!
If you want delicious Chinese food that takes a little more time, then drive south down Route 206 and into Montgomery, or just grab some Japanese or Thai food in Hillsborough instead, as those restaurants in the area are better.

We ordered from here for the first time last night. The food was pretty good. My husband really enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, and I liked the chicken and broccoli. The fried rice was a little greasy, but good. The eggrolls weren’t great, which was a disappointment. I would eat here again. I’ve tried other Chinese places in the area and they were terrible. Just be aware– this place does not deliver.

It’s your typical american-​chinese food joint — all the usual specials & prices you’re used to with these places. It’s my go-​to chinese food place in Hillsborough for when I want that masochistic full belly feeling… you know, the one where you want to pass away and crap out of your mouth. That to me, my friends, is good chinese food.
