We had the Family style dinner [B] for 2 people. The appetizers were very oily and was below average. The entrée was below avg too. The Szechuan Beef was way too sweet and the Kung Pao Chicken was nothing great. They did not have the beers we wanted. We happened to see the place while we were driving back from a movie and decided to dine here. The location is a little shaddy. There was not too many people dining, and as we we were having our dinner the cooks and the waiters began having dinner besides our table(which we did not mind but its just to tell there were not many people in the restaurant. Giving it a 2 stars as i will not be coming here for the food quality. Better Chinese places around with the same price range.

They deliver, which is a huge plus! They are also friendly, and the quality is consistent. Alot of the food is honestly average American Chinese food, but some things are really, really good. I have eaten their food numerous times and here is my opinion of what’s excellent here… Beef chow mein: flavorful and the noodles are the perfect texture Sesame chicken: so amazing, my all time favorite! They serve the sauce on the side so the chicken stays super crispy. Spring rolls: I have no idea what is so special about these, but they are just the best tasting and best textured spring rolls I have ever tried.

Super fast delivery. Like wow. We ordered and had food at our door in about 25 minutes! Order the crab puffs, and you can thank me, and the chef later. The Szechuan beef is out if this world! I am super into szechuan sauce, and this place has it down! Egg flower soup — perfection. BBQ beef — Melted in my mouth, delicious. And wow, the cashew chicken, was so great! Prices that won’t break your budget, too. I’ll have to dine in next time, this place had amazing food!

First time I tried this place. The delivery was very fast! The Szechuan beef was really good. Kung po chicken was mainly cashews and celery. The main I took 2 stars was because the combo options are weird. Mainly pork dishes. I’m not sure what that is about.

we order delivery from here all the time, it can be a bit slow during dinner rush(which is why the 4 in stead of 5 stars) but it has always been worth the wait. their sesame chicken is ridiculously good, and they can even do Singapore noodles(which isn’t on the menu). they are very accommodating and even when the delivery is slow it is still piping hot when it gets to my house. Best Chinese delivery in Hillsboro!

Food was great as always.. And the«1» long island ice tea kicked my woman’s butt! Poured her in the truck and then she passed out on the bedroom floor.

Meh. Bar side sounds awesome, but the restaurant/food… avoid. Not worth the 45 minute wait for the food. Just… yeah no.

Best hot and sour soup around! The owners are very friendly! I always get the chow mein for dinner and the sweet and sour chicken for lunch. The chow mein is made the old way with vegetables and crunchy noodles!

I don’t write reviews very often. Normally it’s only if I feel strongly one way or the other. Unfortunately this is a negative review. Ordered for my coworkers and I and we all got something different. We were all very disappointed. Firstly, we were hung up on in mid sentence with a phone order. We called back to cancel delivery because someone offered to pickup the order and they had already charged the card. This wouldn’t have seemed like a huge deal but the disappointment to come made it that much worse. About ten dollars a combo plate, it was barely subpar. The subgum chow mein should have been called subpar subgum because it was salty and not at all what I was expecting based on other places with«subgum» chow mein. The noodles were crunchy but soggy and oversized. The bbqed beef tasted bland and had a weird texture. It was like thick paper. The sauce to the shrimp tasted like a mixture of ketchup and sugar. The bittersweet part was that the servings were half the size of the normal amount. Good and bad since it was terrible food! But at the price I paid, I was expecting more. I am not too picky with Chinese food but man, awful. Just awful. If you want very greasy, salty, expensive unauthentic Chinese food, eat here. If not, steer clear of this place and do yourself the favor of saving your money.

I had the General Tso’s chicken, the Crab Puffs(Rangoon), Seaweed and Egg Flower soup, and the Shrimp Rolls. I don’t know what was going on with some of the other posters here but I enjoyed the food thoroughly. Price was right, the delivery was on point, and it arrived so hot I damn near burned my mouth on the dipping sauce! Couldn’t eat it all, hopefully it will be good tomorrow! I will DEFINITELY order from Wong’s again. Good stuff!

Typically I would give this place 3 stars on quality of food. but since they actually deliver to our location, it makes us love them. More chinese places need to deliver! We typically get orange chicken, crab puffs(they give a bunch which is great) and shrimp friend rice(which is also very good). Overall, pretty average food and a bonus star for delivery!

Eh, it’s okay. We eat there a couple times a month and love the shrimp fried rice, but it is nothing special. Ordered wonton soup for takeout one time and it must have been the cabbage soup or something because it was inedible. If you’re jonesing for Chinese food in Hillsboro, this will give you your fix.

Tried a local Chinese restaurant off baseline tonight 12−12−14 We ordered the Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork and Wongs shrimp rolls. I had the Mongolian beef was really sweet and not spicy. The color of the beef was really light for beef, and it didn’t taste or have the mouth feel of beef maybe sweat breads(real fatty). My wife said the sweet and sour pork was ok, nothing to write home about. The shrimp rolls were big shrimp and onion in a wonton wrapper fried, but the onion took over the dish. Sorry it wasn’t for me.

Such disappointment! I am fighting a cold. All I wanted was good won ton soup to soothe my throat and fill me with warm carb goodness. This won ton noodle soup was quite subpar. I come from San Francisco, so I do know good Chinese food. This ain’t it! The broth tastes store bought. They didn’t pack the noodles separately, so by the time they delivered the food, the noodles and wontons had soaked up most of the broth, so they were soggy. We ordered more food. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the beef chow mein was good and they do devein the shrimp. Potstickers were ok. While the soup was seriously disappointing, the rest of the food was ok but bland and mediocre. The order was expensive. At this price, we won’t bother ordering again. So continues the search for go-to delivery food…

Was looking for a local place that delivered over the weekend and found Wong’s. Had S&S Chicken, General Tso’s, Szechuan Beef, and Chicken Fried rice. Overall the food was pretty good, the S&S sauce was good, above average compared to some others, the chicken was good a few overcooked dry pieces but mostly cooked well. The General Tso’s was good, the sauce was sweet and spicy not too hot and not too sweet. The Szechuan beef which I didn’t eat but my wife did was said to be okay, could use a bit more spice :) . The chicken fried rice was great, some good pieces of chicken in it, most places you only get flakes of chicken in the fried rice. Delivery was quick, and the driver was friendly. Will definitely order again and give some other dishes a try.

Slow but the food is good clean good service. Portions are a little small. Ask him to kick it up a notch on the curry chicken and it did and it’s really good

Never been disappointed with the food, the staff, or the people in the restaurant or bar. I come in a few times a month or more and highly recommend this establishment. Just a the fried rice, sweet dour pork and the egg flower soup. Still as good as the first time I visited them.

2⁄14 Update: Their Sweet and Sour Chicken is like crack, I cannot get enough of it 1⁄14 Update: I am giving them another star based on my experience yesterday. I ordered from them again and the soups were wonderful,(I ordered one hot and sour and one egg drop) both very good. I also ordered Barbecued Pork and it was delicious, tender and had the perfect taste. I ordered something more traditionally Chinese this time for my Entrée, and it was perfect. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken with no Green Peppers. It was great, the chicken was crisp and white meat and the sauce was tasty. I will definitely get this again. I would like to try them in person next time and see how much better it would be fresh out of the hopper!

This morning before work a coworker texted me, where is there Chinese takeout by my house? She just moved to my side of town. Hmm. China Bay, I told her. Not too far from her. Prior to lunch however, this got me thinking about Sweet and Sour Chicken. Seriously, could I fixate on anything less healthy? REALLY? My tummy’s brain said, nope, that’s what I want. It was eating brown rice, kale, and broiled fish all week that did it to me, Sigh. What I wanted was Legin’s sweet and sour chicken. Say what you will about Legin, the sweet and sour was always perfect. So I called in to Wong’s in HIllsboro for takeout. The good: Lunch specials are reasonable($ 6.50). Entrees not bad. Sweet and sour chicken was $ 8.50. It was ready in the ten minutes they told me, it came in a bag with a container of sweet and sour(that was hot, and tastier than most pink sauce, a nd I love that it was packaged separately to keep the chicken crispy), a small container of steamed rice, and a larger container of fried chicken pieces. Chicken was tender inside, crispy outside, not too greasy, and hot. Not too salty. There was a fortune cookie and soy sauce in the bag. The nice man asked me if I needed a fork and I asked for chopsticks and he gave them to me. Sweet. The bad:(I’m nitpicking here, ok) There was ONE carrot sliver, ONE piece of green pepper, two pieces of pineapple, and ONE onion sliver floating int he sauce. They were all perfectly cooked(ie crispy not soggy and floppy)… but if there had been more than one person eating(like say, my child) there would have been a problem. She loves the carrots. I think there should have been more of them. P. S. The fortune cookie tasted good and was not in a plastic package. It says I’m going to have profit from an investment opportunity. GO me. Wongs on the inside and outside is kinda divey, definitely plain, not special. But it’s a reasonable place for a work lunch or takeout. I’lll do it again. The entrée size was good sized and I have leftovers to take home… no veggies of course.
