Do not go here! I visited this office more than once yet only saw a nurse practioner. I thought after first visit I would see a real dr especially when a procedure is involved! Also their billing is messed up. I was billed over and over again after the bill was paid. I had to call them several times and they would assure me it was fixed and weeks later another bill would arrive! Very frustrating!

I saw Dr. Nicola Rotberg since I found out I was pregnant with my second until I was 24 weeks. I switched because I moved. I believe she is a good person who tries to accommodate her patients as best as she can. However, the hospital and office need their money so when it boils down to it, «it’s all about the billing» and getting as many people seen as possible.
I thought about switching sooner because I didn’t like this clinic too much but there weren’t many options nearby that would accept my insurance. This clinic is VERY BUSY so I always felt treated like a number. Nobody seemed to smile and everybody seemed tired.
For the first visit at 8 weeks, you would only see the medical assistant. That wasn’t my experience with my OBs in California so maybe that was why I had a more adverse reaction to it. Worse, I felt like I went in just to fill out some forms THEN read the forms to the medical assistant as she inputted them into the computer. I later asked Dr. Rotberg about that and she explained that the forms were for the doctors to review and not the medical assistants; the medical assistants are «not allowed» to review those forms.
I’ve only seen Dr. Rotberg THREE TIMES. She’s super busy. Each time I only get to talk to her for maybe 5 minutes. I know she didn’t mean to rush me but I felt bad even asking her a question unless she brought it up.
I asked to have my records faxed to my new OB clinic after my move. Though the receptionist told me it should be done in a day or two, Dr. Rotberg didn’t get to approving the request until the day of my appointment at the new OB clinic. When I saw my new OB, both she and her assistant had a hard time making sense of the records because of missing info; it seemed like a lot of stuff were not noted.
Unless you couldn’t find a better option like I did, I don’t recommend you go here unless you don’t care about getting to know your doctor or just want to be in and out (usually at least an hour due to the wait). I don’t think the people at this clinic are bad people or just after your money, but maybe just overworked and bound by certain policies.
