Roberts Pest Control

I spoke with this company regarding a roach treatment on an apartment building and was quoted a price by Charlie Roberts directly. He then told me an office worker would call me to schedule. They did not over the next couple days, so I called to schedule. I spoke to the lady on the phone and she informed me there would be a $ 65 fee just to come out to quote a price. I informed her that I was already quoted a price by Charlie and that I was comfortable with the price and wanted to schedule the service, but not pay a fee to have another estimate. She scheduled the appointment, but then called back two days later to cancel the appointment stating that they did not wish to do business with me based on our prior conversation. I suspect that they did not want to honor the price I was originally quoted over the phone and generally use a bait and switch tactic with new clients. Separately I have learned that with their bed bug treatment, they actually hire the bed bug service from a 3^rd party and don’t actually do their own treatment, instead they just mark up the service from another company, meaning you can save money by going directly to the other company.

I have to write a review about this company. I am a single mom of two that was living in an apartment with an infestation that was NOT coming from my apartment. I decided to choose Roberts pest control to do a heat treatment before moving to a new place. Not only did Charlie answer his phone every time I called and believe you me as much as I called you would think I was the pest. He was nothing but wonderful and accommodating with every question I had. He coordinated with me exactly the appropriate time to heat treat and move my belongings so that I don’t reinfest my new place, not only was Charlie accommodating and honest about everything. The guy that did the actual treatment and that I dealt with while getting the heat treatment was nice, knowledgeable and answered all my questions and didn’t mind a bit to answer my childrens questions. This pest control company uses both heat treatment and chemical for a tough infestation like mine. If you need an honest, go the extra mile, experienced pest control company this is a perfect choice!
