My favorite breakfast spot. Cozy and affordable with the best fresh squeezed blood orange mimosas! The scrambles are great too but honestly so is the whole menu.

If you plan to order lunch don’t bother showing up until noon. The server seemed miffed we would ask for a lunch menu at 11:30. It’s Aloha, not Portlandia. People want lunch starting around 11/11:30. Not a hipster noon brunch. What made it worse was the 30 minute wait so our breakfast food arrived at 12:15. Yes we were a larger group, no we were not unreasonable but wait staff can be a little friendlier and a refill of water should not have to be requested. Neither should our check. At best, the food is on a chain level.

A very average café, similar to IHOP and Shari’s in my opinion(don’t really like either one). The service was fairly slow and our server didn’t seem too aware of the options at the restaurant when we asked. The food was extremely bland– you’re getting what you pay for though.

I’ve never been to this place before but have always seen it. I decided to give it a try with my brother for our Monday breakfast. The wait staff seems friendly and we have a seat in the bar area. We both ordered the Steak Fajita omelette with wheat toast. I got the 2 egg omelette and he got the 4 egg omelette. Mary our server asked if I wanted Salsa on the side or on top, and I requested on top. She comes back about 8 minutes later with my brothers plate, and something I didn’t order that had bacon, and avocado. I told her it was wrong, and she looked at me like I was crazy. I told her we both ordered the steak Fajita omelette and she took the plate back. I asked her about the salsa for my brothers omelette and she said it doesn’t come with salsa! She then said she will bring some anyway. Fine. About 3 minutes later she comes and asks if I want to split my brothers omelette while I wait for mine to be cooked. I declined. Another 5 mins or so pass, and she finally brings mine. No salsa of course and then asks if I want some. I declined because by now my brother is half way done with his food, and I’m barely getting started. The has browns were soggy, the steak wasn’t anything you’d find in a Fajita. It was merely steak, and sautéed peppers in a omelette. I’d consider it sub par. For a café I’d expect pretty decent food but to know that I can go to ihop and get a better tasting omelette is a shame. I was hoping to find a place to be my regular Monday breakfast spot, and sadly, this isn’t it. We won’t be returning. The wheat toast was great though!

The pulled pork was pretty good but the waiter, Andrew W, wasn’t too pleasant to interact with. It might be me looking too much into it but he didn’t have an ounce of joy in him… tossing drinks and bills around and not showing up to replenish drinks. We didn’t ask for much… Not that we could with the lack of his presence.

I hadn’t been here for ages until today. They had four specials of the month and I opted for Irish Stew. It tasteddelicious, made with lamb, and was a refreshing change from all of the faux international restaurants that have popped up. The prices were reasonable, the staff very friendly, pouring cup after cup of coffee for my friend, and refilling my tea pot with more hot water. The dessert menu looked so yummy, but I withstood. They also gave us a 20% senior discount without us having to ask. No problem when we requested separate checks either. I will return!

After recent visit to the Reedville Café we are sorry to say we wont be returning… we go to this establishment about once a month. Tonight we went there and i must say the service was aweful. The food was just as tasteless. there was 6 of us. my son had the kids cheeseburger. which was less than desireable. kinda looked like roadkill. My 10oz primerib was tough. and the veggies on all plates looked much like an after thought. mushy!!! and its weird the prime my wife got was fine by her standard. my daughter got the kids mashed potatoes. i think it had more unmashed pieces of potato than it did mashed. I had one glass of Iced tea. had to hunt down the hostess to get a refill of ice with a scant of tea. So one might ask did you tell your server??? yeah thats a good one. he(server 328 andrew w) was no where to be found. he actually didnt show untill after i payed for the meal with the hostess… Over all the pricing was way to high for the food we were given. our ticket came to 102.80. we are not happy and i dont think this will be the last you hear from us over this… WEHAVEBEENTHEREBEFOREANDGOTBETTERFOODANDSERVICE.

My sister, niece and I came in to have breakfast today after church. My niece ordered the chicken strips. My sister order the bacon, cheese, avocado omelet with sour dough bread. My sister pointed to the 2 egg omelet and I told the waitress I will have the same as my sister. We had no idea that when we received the check they had charged us for the 4 egg omelet. I told the waitress that we thought we ordered the 2 egg omelet. She replied that we needed to state that we wanted the 2 egg otherwise they would order the regular. Now I was not sure exactly what she was talking about when she said regular as the menu stated 2 or 4 egg omelets. She stated that she would take care the difference. I asked her why she didn’t ask us which one we were wanting and she said that would be too many people to ask if they did that. I thought that was bizarre. She then gave the check to the manager that came over and said I took the difference off of your check but next time you must state which omelet you want. I could not believe how little they made us feel about the mistake and yet I still believe they should have asked. I’ve been going to this restaurant for a long time with lots of friends but I will not be going back. Poor poor customer service! Beware! And make sure you read the difference sizes from regular…

Done with this place. Went there twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both times I was highly disappointed in both the preparation and quality of the food. My husband went for breakfast today with friends and was nice enough to bring me home the crab Benedict. Well at least that is what it was supposed to be. Except I got a scoop of crabmeat mix on an English muffin covered in cheddar cheese. There were no poached eggs!!! And instead of hollandaise sauce(the best part) I got cheddar cheese. I gave it two starts because the crab meat mixture was good and included teeny tiny shrimps. That and the place seemed to be clean when I went. But I won’t eat there again.

Our favorite neighborhood haunt. The waiters are awesome and get to know you personally. The food– especially breakfast– is good any time of day.

First time eating there yesterday. It wasn’t busy at all(probably because it was after lunch and before dinner time). Staff was friendly. Ordered: Prime Rib Sandwich, Half Fried Zucchini(it was a lot for 2 people) and cider beer(it was ok). Overall I liked it & I think I’ll go back to try their breakfast & happy hour specials. * A better way to gain an experience is to try something new. When you do, remember to post it.
Good luck & happy Unilocaling

5 plus star rating for Grant, he is the best server ever. If only the food were better. It is so hit and miss. Today I got my favorite thing which I only allow a couple times a year, the Fried Fresh Zucchini on the Appetizer menu, good as always. Hubby ordered the Razor Clams and double veggies instead of mashed potatoes. The Razors were greasy and pretty rubbery, the veggies were sauteed and not overcooked, they were the best part of the meal actually, but for $ 17.00 so not worth it. The Texas Toast was good, but greasy. I ordered the Cod Fish and Chips, the fries seem double fried or something, they are very dark and pretty limp, not my favorite. The breading on the cod was mushy and wet on the bottom and fell apart. The Cole Slaw was pretty good but I just picked at it. Overall pretty disappointing. Hubby was really craving Razor Clams and this did nothing to assuage his craving. I really wish their food was better because the restaurant itself is very pleasant and the long time employees are awesome.

I’ve been coming to Reedville Café since I was a kid. It’s consistent and totally yummy. I love their breakfasts! The eggs benedict is just perfect. This last weekend we brought my brother and sister in law for lunch, and noticed the Monday burger special. $ 6.50 for selected burgers. Oh my, yum. I had the Big Ty with BBQ sauce and frizzled onions. Juicy, perfectly cooked and a great sauce. Great value for a late lunch! Oh, forgot to mention their great service. This is key! They have super long term staff and that says something. They are fast, efficient and«just right» with their timing. We will keep coming back!

Ratings: Amazing, Great, Good, Okay, Bad Server: Great Food: Good(breakfast) Drinks: Okay(coffee and tea) Setting: Simple, quaint, homey Came in the morning during the week. Seemed appropriately staffed in the dining room, kitchen was keeping up fine also. Food quality was okay, sampled an omelet, a skillet, and biscuit & gravy. A couple simple issues, the omelet had fresh mushrooms in it which were not cooked prior to placing in the omelet which results in trapped liquid in the omelet. The sausage in the gravy wasn’t typical breafast sausage with sage I would expect. The skillet had no seasoning, but we used the available sauces to remedy that. All in all, I would come back here, but I wouldn’t go out of my way again to do so. Coffee was not something I would order again. To finish off, I will say our server was very nice, timely stops by the table and a pleasant conversationalist.

I stopped by with the in-laws to have a breakfast. Overall, it was pretty decent. The vibe I got from the place is this is where the old people go for meals. Not a knock on the place, but that’s what it felt like. Totally ok to bring the whole family as we did see kids there too. Breakfast is hard to mess up, so we were happy with the meal, Even ordered something that wasn’t on the menu and that was good.

I really want to love Reedville. It’s a Hillsboro institution, but the bland atmosphere & waitstaff watching the clock until quitting time keep me from loving it. The onion rings & dipping sauce are truly the best on the planet. The rest of the food is pretty good. Last time we were in, we sat in a booth in the bar area & had trouble eating our food because the hanging light was right at eye-level & had a thick layer of greasy dust. We moved our plates to the edges of the table & mentioned our concern to our waiter. I wonder if anything got cleaned.

We were visiting family in Hillsboro and were making plans to have breakfast. All they know are the chains so I was able to guide our decision based on your great reviews. Good quality, prompt, friendly service, and frequent rounds of coffee refills. I noticed they had a good HH menu if we are ever back later in the day. Nice to know there are locally owned and sourced restaurants in the burbs!

If you live in Hillsboro, your breakfast options are limited. Seriously this is usually the only place we go for breakfast. That’s because A: we work like dogs during the week so no time for this lovely meal. Or B: we get up waaay too late on Sundays and end up going to lunch instead. :/ When we do make it to breakfast it’s to Reedville since it’s down the road, has a nice vibe inside, and we enjoy our fluffy buttery pancakes(me), fresh crab Benedict’s(bigdaddy), great strong coffee(both), full bar for our mimosas, juicy in season fruit and tofu sausage pattys(daughter). Big roomy booths are comfy, but also have tables. TVs also in a couple of the dining rooms, which comes in handy to semi watch the game on a Sunday morning. Oh and they have a little corner room for video poker. I don’t play, but it’s way cute and clean and nice lighting. Cause lighting really matters. Really really it does. Good desserts too. Grab one to go! :D
