This is a terrible company. I sent them one roll of super 8 mm film to be transferred to a hard drive which I supplied. Upon it’s rival they sent me an e-mail saying I would receive my order in 2 months. TWOMONTHS! Their email said to let them know if I need it sooner. I wrote back and requested expedited service. They never responded. I followed up with several phone calls. The customer service line often goes straight to voicemail. I was able to get my order back in 50 days. When it arrived the transfer was unusable. It was extremely under exposed. I wrote back to customer service with screen grabs of what the film looked like when we had previously transferred it to VHS and compared it to a screen grab of what they sent. I requested a refund and it has now been 7 days with no reply from Pixmonix.

Pixmonix came highly recommended so I decided to give them a try. What a letdown. It took them two weeks to scan my stuff and when I finally saw the B&W scans I realized this is not a pro quality shop. The color scans were acceptable but I’ll have to have all the B&W rescanned. Couple this with lackluster service from Steve who was downright rude, I won’t be using their service again.
