Mely’s Taco Truck

A great little Mexican food cart. A good change up in the area it is at when you need a change from Don Pedro or Ochoa’s. I have had burritos from Mely’s twice and the extremely good sopes three times. The carne asada is good and meaty not fatty or nasty. The sopes shells are good and mealy in a good way with almost a homemade tortilla chewiness to them. The crema mexicana drizzled on top is cool and refreshing. They are great and have plentiful toppings. Reasonable prices and good quality food. It’s an unlikely gem and a good close food cart for those who like carting in Portland. Some outdoor seating, but they do package well to go.
