It’s a Thursday and the kids are away. I’m not at the loud gym waiting my turn on the next available equipment, instead, I go to the Karate Dojo here in Hillsboro just off Hwy 26 west bond on Imbrie Dr. And work out on my basics, and then my Katas. The idea of going to a place to workout without any waiting is perfect for me. Later in the evening when Sensei Hideharu Igaki comes in I can ask him to look at my form.
Most gyms have vary little one on one time. Here at the Japan Karate Federation NW Headquarters the instructors pay attention to the little things. That’s what makes this the perfect Karate school here in the Pacific Northwest.

I have been with this organization for 4 years. Every time I come to class I am greeted by many students and instructors. I learn something new every time I come into class. This organization is wonderful and super fun. The teachers support you and push you to do your best. you don’t only learn karate here, you also learn life lessons. They teach you to be kind to others, to never give up, to stay healthy and active, as well as self defense. I have had a really good experience in this organization and so have many other people. I really recommend you to try it out. Who know, maybe you’ll be the next world champion.

Excellent instruction from patient, experienced teachers. There are many sports, clubs, and activities vying for our time and money, but this is an organization that can change your life — really! Martial arts can improve fitness, focus, confidence and coordination — all things that are important for success in life.
I am continually impressed with the teachers with 20 – 40 years training — these are world class teachers, right here in Hillsboro! If you want a great activity for adults or kids, please check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!
