A brand new store thats a replacement for an old defunct auto shop-turned«snack shop», carwash and shell gas Past few months all of that has been torn for a brand new larger convenience store that has much more then just chips and bottled coke. It no longer has the car wash but honestly who used that? It also has the same shell gas as before but in a reconfigured way. I have yet to use the gas station since they reopend but I have when they had the old lot. I assume its the same. Average. One thing they should have done is have a one way only lane. Where you can only get gas by entering the pumps one day. Clears congestion and reduces the risk of someone getting run over. but in all its just a gas station. Nothing to write home about. The store is a different story: Unlike the old«snack shop» with the former building, the new store is nice and bright inside. With high ceilings and wide asiles. It just opened so of course its gonna be nice and clean. As long as the clerks and management keep it that way I see no problem with this staying like this in 5 – 10 years. Prices for the store are pretty cheep. 16oz-50oz fountain sodas range from $ 1.16 up to $ 1.50 and it appears they have a whole coffee and hot snacks section. They also have a walk in beer cooler. At the end of the day its still a convenience store and gas station thats in the old, worn down part of town. Yes its new, but nothing special. but it does give you at least one more choice on this side of town to get your gas(that has been at this location for years) and food items(that never really were at this location before)
