Gimre’s Shoe Store

Hard to find an actual shoe store these days and what a delight to actually have SERVICE. I went there to find a cross trainer shoe. They have a computerized fitting service and I got the very best pair of cross trainers which really help my feet. I plan to go back here. it’s so hard to order shoes on line. The person who helped me had great ideas and options.

I had heard great things about Gimre’s Shoes and had to check it out for myself. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by nice people and they immediately started helping me; asking for what I was looking for and my shoe size. They were having a great sale on boots, which they helped me sift through first, and had plenty of cute and comfortable options.
Then I started noticing their great spring selection and they helped me pick out a pair I wouldn’t have normally chosen that were very stylish and super comfortable!
Extremely happy with the choices and quality, and they have a 1 year warranty on their shoes! The prices were also great, and were the same as they would be online, even at Amazon and Zappos, but I would rather spend locally.
I was very happy with the quick and wonderful customer service I received. Linda checked me out at the register and was super nice and answered all my questions with a smile. I will hopefully be back soon to see what they’ll have for spring/​summer and will definitely recommend Gimre’s to friends and family!

Went into Gimres today (⁸⁄₁₈) because I was returning a pair of shoes to the store that my sister had bought when she was down visiting from Washington. I got great service from the staff even though there was some diffrences between the store and my sister about the shoes. They handled it unbelievably well, very professional people. I have bought shoes from them before and after today I’m going to be a long time customer. Can’t say enough they have great shoes and awesome staff! I highly recogmend Gimres!

Ohmygoodness. …pay a lot to be told what to wear and corrected. Ummmm no. So we decided to get Birkenstocks. Pricey at 130 bucks a pair but good shoes. Could order online… but no we decide to support our local businesses. Guy tells us that there will be a sale at Saturday Market. Well great. We get sized so we can just come and get them.
I went and got hubby’s pair early last week as a gift and then went to get mine. The sales guy goes to the back and gets a different set. I say «no, I want those.» Too bad… not in stock. I said «But I asked if you would have them and you said yes and that there would be additional selections as, the rep would be there.
He corrects me as to when I was in… not realizing that I was in a, week ago when he was not there. I tell him I will order online and he says «good luck»…
Now first, as a business owner, I would never have a customer come back. I would offer that discount now to make the sale. I would also never ever correct a customer.
To get folks to support your small business you have to service their needs. You can’t decry online when you have nearly 300 in sales standing in your store and you send them away.

You can buy shoes anyplace, but here you get great service as well. I will spend a little more for this kind of service!
