Scioto Run Nature Trail

What a nice place to spend part of your day. I could spend much more time here than hours walking around and having a great relaxing day. Come in your hiking closes and shoes and enjoy.

I found out about this trail in a geocaching expedition. This is a nice trail, a mostly easy hike. The trail is wide, easy to see, mostly flat, a dirt trail. It’s great for everyone, not just hikers. There’s a nice little brook running through it. You don’t really need to bring much supplies because it doesn’t go terribly far into the woods. If you had an emergency, it wouldn’t take you long to get back out to get help.
It’s sometimes muddy though because there’s a lot of tree cover and not much sun gets though. This also means you’re always in the shade in the summer time but you should wear good shoes. Don’t wear sandals or anything like that.
