I wish I could give 0 stars. I am a customer that recently moved to Columbus within the last 2 months. I did some research online to check out prices of tanning salons and saw this salon had great deals. I went in a few weeks ago and it was extremely hot and the thermostat said 82 degrees… The associate was very sweet and said that their AC unit was broken and that she had talked to her district manager and owner and they had not responded and hopefully it would be fixed soon. I went in about a week later and it was 85 degrees. The associate was a different girl and she explained that the AC unit had still not been fixed so I did not sign up, once again. Last night I walked in around 7 and there was a girl named Mackenzie up at the desk. She looked extremely overheated but was so sweet and polite. It was 95 degrees in the salon and She apologized to myself and the other 2 customers in the salon numerous times for the heat and said that she wasn’t sure when it was going to be fixed and that she hoped it would be soon. I am outraged and extremely disappointed! How as an owner would this not be your first priority? Not only is this affectioning their business, but These poor girls working are going to get heat exhaustion! I will be calling the better business bureau and OSHA to see if there is anything they can do. Shame on this salon and their owner!

I purchased a package that was supposed to be good for 6 months. I only used one session before they told me my package expired and was only good for 30 days. Make sure every package you purchase is in writing! After submitting my review I was contacted and my package was extended through April. I greatly appreciate the extension and I’m happy to see they actually do care about providing good service.

Hannah is the BEST employee they have. She seems to always be there and is ALWAYS nice and pleasant to be around. They need to do whatever they can to keep her. She knows what she is doing!

The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because it was $ 5 to tan. But when I mean it’s $ 5 you pay for what you get. I was disgusted at the cleanliness of this salon. The bed said sanitized but after getting into it, I noticed hair, dust, and other debris underneath the glass. I ended my 12 minute session at 9 minutes left because I wasn’t about to lay in such filthy conditions. The associate at the front desk was really polite when checking me in, but when I asked if it were possible to get a refund, I was told she wasn’t allowed to. No big deal, it’s $ 5. But after waiting I noticed that other patrons were having issues with equipment.

I love the convenient location. I also love the $ 5 Tuesday tans and once in a while they will offer $ 3 customer appreciation tans, maybe once every three months or so. The staff is very friendly and do whatever they can to accommodate you! Great location and great price!

The sign just says«Tanning» so I wasn’t sure I was in the right place till I got to the door, but this is an LA Tan. As at other locations, the place is clean, the service is friendly, and the beds are up to date. Since I need to tan once in awhile but am not a fanatic, it’s nice to have handy locations, simple plans, and decent pricing.

There are several ups and downs to this location. For starters the sign doesn’t even say«la tan» its just a generic tanning sign, putting that aside as superficial as it is the entire location is in need of an update. The carpet is old and stained, the lobby furniture is in desperate need of… well something, and the beds are very old and outdated expecially considering the quality of other beds in salons nearby. Also nearly every bed has ATLEAST3 – 4 bulbs burned out, or starters that need changed. This being said there are positives to this location as well. For one thing its cheap, there really arnt other salons who can offer what L. A tan does for the price, which is a common reason for customers to stay with them, and they offer daily specials like 5 $ Tuesday, and 10 $ spray tan Monday. These really can’t be beat anywhere in Columbus. Each location has a very different staff but this one is by far the friendliest. Every employee is there and ready to wait on you hand and foot, which is a big plus.
