Golden Chopsticks

This is the best Chinese food we’ve had in years! It’s worth the 30 minute drive to get there. Plenty of food, great prices and the staff is friendly. The General Tso is just a bit spicy, not to hot. The orange chicken is spicy and so very good. Will definitely be going back.

So first and foremost, the food is really good and I’ll most likely return and the reason for 3stars. I did order three dishes to go and two of the three had an issue. I got chic & broccoli as well as the chicken & vegetables. They were the exact same dish, actually my vegetable dish had more broccoli. My orange beef had a really hard piece of thick melted plastic in my food, not even sure what it could have been.

This is one of my favorite places for this type of food. I have never been disappointed in the service or quality of food. Beware the 5pm rush (call ahead) because they get busy. Tables could be a little cleaner, but not too bad. Food is always fast. Much friendlier than the Broad street location (and cleaner).

I stop by here for carry out occasionally. I’m not super into Chinese food, but really like theirs. I typically get some sort of lo mein. Their combination lo mein is really delicious– very generous on the meat and shrimp. Standard egg rolls and crab Rangoon. Always speedy and friendly service as well.

Dirty. The place was in need of some serious scrubbing. Totally grossed me out. Maybe they have since gotten it under control but I am not going back to find out.

Wouldn’t recommend the teriyaki chicken at all, it’s very horribly put together and doesn’t taste like teriyaki at all. The sesame chicken is great! But make sure they repeat back the order because after they make a mistake and deliver the wrong thing it’s difficult to get them to fix it! Price is great, food is good, customer service is ok.

The owner/​manager of this grease ball joint needs some help in the customer service area. We ordered an order of shrimp pad Thai tonight… With the peanuts on the side since we were sharing it, and were very rudely scolded with «NO PEANUT ON SIDE… YOU GET PEANUT OR NO PEANUT.»
Unbelievable. The peanut topping could have simply been given in a side cup. We were so shocked we continued with the order, all the while being scowled at and given dirty looks from behind the counter. After the fact, we wish we would have said «NO PEANUT NO NOTHING» and walked out…
We will not be visiting again. This guy is a real jerk. Karma :)

Got hives after eating pork pad Thai. Never happened before in my life. Maybe the msg or fish sauce? I will not return.

I really liked the lemon chicken I had. It basically taste the same as the West Broad location but I rather go here to get it due to customer service. While I was waiting for the food, the cashier and another guy was very nice to me and thanked me for coming in. Not sure about the other choices of food because that’s all I get everywhere I go. I love lemon chicken.

I have to admit I didn’t try this place for quite sometime because I knew they had another location and thought it was an establishment similar to Panda Express. I am so happy I tried it! They offer a wide variety of dishes, my favorites are the Singapore noodles (chicken, extra spicy) and tofu General Tso.
They always prepare everything fresh and very quickly (within 15 min) and the portion sizes are large especially considering how reasonably everything is priced. I now go quite often and have even had it delivered which was also very quick.

my husband and I ate here on Oct 29, 2014. We ordered our food and we watched as everyone before and after our order receive their order, so we inquired and the cashier said they had made a mistake on the order and she was having them remake it. after several minutes we took our order home, it was cold and a lot less food than we usually received. We called spoke to the cashier and she said it was because they were busy, we asked for the manager she said he wasn’t in but after talking a few minutes more the manager got on the phone and said they did the best they could and would not offer any apologies or to make our meals right. We will not eat at this restaurant again!

Great place, wonderful for take out. Excellent prices too. We have enjoyed everything we’ve tried.

Red Curry Chicken with steamed rice is my favorite dish here. Beef & Broccoli, General Tso’s, Chicken or Shrimp Lo Mein, Pepper Steak, Pad Thai, and Garlic Chicken are all delicious. Crab Rangoon is a solid choice for an appetizer. Their wonton soup is also pretty tasty.
I wouldn’t recommend the egg rolls, they taste like breakfast sausage to me.
Service is always friendly & food is prepared quickly. Even during their busy times we’ve never had to wait more than ¹⁰⁄₁₅ min for our food.

Don’t waste your time. Yes, the food is cheap. With that you get poor quality food that is on par with the food court at your local mall or the Panda Express drive-​through.

Had lunch there. Had the shrimp garlic. It was really good and plenty of food for money.

This restaurant is decent. I’ve ordered delivery twice and the orders were right and they were timely both times. Portion size is good — the dishes will feed my 125 lb. self three times :) We first tried this place when we overheard some people talking about how great the shrimp toast was. It is a good little appetizer to munch on. The pot stickers are also pretty good, especially if you like a little ginger on your pallet. I wasn’t impressed with the happy family or the vegetable lo mien, but enjoyed the sweet & sour chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce.
For the money this place hits the mark.

The last time we visited we ordered an ice water with our meals. The guy behind the counter said one ice water only, how rude!
We decided to visit again, this time my son and i both ordered garlic chicken without vegetables. Without telling us they charged us both $ 1.50 extra. When we reviewed our receipt we were told the $ 1.50 charge was for extra chicken (that we didn’t order). The lady taking orders chimes in and tells us the $ 1.50 charge is because we had no vegetables. Watch your bill, the menu prices do not match what they charge you.
While we were eating my son and I witnessed the guy cleaning one side of the grill while food was cooking on the other side. He was spraying cleaning chemicals, they were flying into the cooking wok next to where he was cleaning into someone’s food order.

Tried this place many years ago, and absolutely hated it. Refused to go there for a long while.
Decided to give it another try (hopefully after 5 years, they’ve improved?). They did, in a way. It’s by no means the best Chinese available. But if it’s close to you, it’s okay. They deliver and their prices are fair. They offer tofu dishes which is great in my book.
It’s average.

It took me over 5 years to give this place a second chance and I walked away happy and full. My wife and I tried this place when they first opened and we hated it. We have friends who frequent the place so we thought we should give it another shot.
My wife has a history of having bad Chinese lately (if you read my reviews it seems like she always hates her meal). So we ordered three dishes to ensure happiness. We ordered General Tsos, Pad Thai, and a Red Curry Chicken. YUM! All 3 dishes were delightful with a nice spice to the Pad Thai and Red Curry. This was one of the better Fast Food Chinese experiences I have had lately. I think we found are new lunchtime Chinese option.
They are more expensive than my favorite Chinese place on Broad, but closer. The price isn’t that different so I will be utilizing this place more in the coming year. My only complaint was that Brown rice was an extra $ 1 which I did not know until I looked at the receipt. They had a sign saying «We Now have Brown Rice» but no comment on it being extra and the cashier never mentioned it. Bad service. Other then that the service was friendly and quick.
I guess all places deserve a second shot after a few years.

I got carryout when they first opened and the food was just bad. The egg rolls were even bland. No interest in going back.
