It’s the only take out Indian place in Mercer county. A bit pricy but great food none the less.

Was horrible. Don’t ever set foot in this place. Stinks and hot as hell inside and food tastes bad. Saw them handle all the meat with bare hands and they did not seem to care about hygiene. The meat was also old and tasted so bad like rubber. And worst part was customer service. A fat lady in the front argues with and yells at customers when she messes up the order.

Ordered food few times, they only offer takeout due to small place. Loved the experience! Highly recommend for halal meat.

The worst place ever… If you go and order from here then just feel that you are eating trash. we ordered 100 $ food and didn’t eat even the food worth 5 $.The owner sucks with stupid expressions. if you ever go and eat then you will just vomit. one star is also not worth giving. If there is an option of half star then I would rate it as half star.

It’s a hidden gem in Princeton! The owner is very kind. The meat is fresh and tasty. As others said it’s not visually attractive and you cannot eat there but just try their malai kabap. If you are the kind that likes marinated chicken, that will blow your mind up. So tasty! Good job!

This review is for his food/kitchen — not for the butcher side(since we have not yet tried it). So, this place is rather unassuming — you walk in, and see a meat/butcher counter and some chairs and a checkout counter. It’s not the most visually attractive places and you can not eat there. but the guy /owner runs a small kitchen in the back, in addition to being a butcher and let me tell you… it’s really GREAT tasting food. His prices, compared to actual restaurants are about 30−40% less for a lot of entrees. So what if you can’t eat there and place looks a little dumpy in a dinky old plaza — the food and price makes up for it! List of things we’ve tried: in order of yumminess(yeah, it’s a word now.) Chicken Kebabs Chicken Makhani — like whoa delicious! Lamb Rogan Josh — equally like whoa delicious! Chicken Tikka Masala Channa Saag Chicken Biryani Lamb Korma Daal Makhani Bhindi Masala(a little oily in my opinion and too many green peppers in the dish) Naan — bought once, never again — a little dry and hard, not soft like they should be, so I just buy my own from the store. Lamb Kebabs — tasted tough and gamey the twice we tried it — won’t ever buy again. I’ve read some of the other reviews about some pinesol type smell — I’ve smelled it once. I’m sure he’s using some cheap cleaners to wipe down his floor and that coupled with the smell of being a butcher isn’t really the most pleasing to be honest… but look, this guy has a crazy amount of customers for food/butcher services. if he was selling crappy meats(beef, lamb, chicken, goat, etc). I’d venture to say he’s probably be out of business. too many Indians in the area that know their meat to let this guy stay in business if he were selling crap. I’ve actually seen multiple ethnicities buy raw meat from him — so if you can get over the smell when he cleans, you’ll be fine. We’ve done take out like 5 times from this guy — consistently good food. .Full warning: its rich food, but its really freaking yummy(and much cheaper than the other local Indian places. mainly cos he doesn’t have the overhead that actual restaurants do) So far, anyone I’ve served food to from here has loved it as well!

This take out has consistently good tasting South-East Asian fare(esp the kebabs and biriyani). They also butcher fresh cuts of meat on premises and sell it. Now that being said, we’re slightly skeptical about the overall sanitary situation. There’s a weird stench(odor of meat processing mixed with Pinesol) that engulfs you as soon as you walk in through the doors. Whatever the reason might be, the permeating smell is a bit off putting.

I get our halal meat from here, and it is always good. It does smell like meat inside(to be expected for a butcher shop). I would recommend calling your meat order in 20 – 30 mins ahead of time, especially on the weekends.

My family always had good meals from here but I had not been there in awhile. I noticed different people running the place and asked them if it was under new management and it indeed was(since late last year). The food was exactly as I had remembered it. Delicious and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Best tasting curries at the lowest prices I have seen anywhere in north America. Every time we visit NJ this is our go to spot. It is not a place you can take your family to but definitely a place from where you can take food home and enjoy. Their catering prices are also quite cheap. Give this place a try you will keep going back.

if you are looking for fresh meat(Desi Style) this is the place to go. They used to have limited takeout menu(seems like they are expanding with the new flyer I saw) but the the chicken Tikka Briyani is a must try and so the Chicken Sheekh kabab!

Pretty decent Halal take out location, food is awesome and the price is affordable. I love to take out from here when I’m not cooking. Chicken Biryani or Goat Biryani you get for 7 – 8 bucks and the quantity you cannot finish in one meal

The ambiance is not going to win points with anyone, but you’ll need to look past that. It’s good food at a good price. Love the chicken tikka masala. If you’re home on a weekday, the lunch specials area a steal. The free«salad» that comes w/every meal– trash that immediately. Don’t even open the foam container. They do tend to take a while preparing your order(not necc. a bad thing), so make sure you call ahead and don’t show up early. Otherwise you’ll be waiting while staring at goat innards in the cooler case.

Pretty good food, cheap, no frills. The cilantro sauce is excellent. The kabobs were slightly on the greasy side. Also, I was expecting chunks of chicken, but the kebab was more like sausage, still pretty good though. The chicken tikka was flavorful, tender, and not greasy. Delicious! Each item also comes with a salad instead of rice. If I came back I’d definitely go for the chicken tikka.

man what do they put in the sauce? its freaking fantastic. straight up heart clogging ingredients but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. and thats some yummy chicken tikka marsala. its a halal market but they have a section for ordering quick food. aesthetically, having a take out business on the butcher floor probably isnt the best idea, but there is some sort of beautiful fusion that erupts from this combination to provide me some mind blowing marsala and real naan. HALLLAAAAL House… i heart you im pretty sure this is the best indian food in the immediate area.

The place looks very-very cheap. It doesn’t look like you can order something to go. It’s more like some butcher place. But, try their Malay Kabab and Chicken Tikka Masala. It’s delicious and much cheaper than regular Indian restaurants nearby. For $ 6.75 you get a very tasty meal of small chicken yoghurt marinated pieces on a bed of onion and lettuce, plus some(separate served) greenish looking yoghurt dip(very tasty). The Chicken Tikka is also very good. It’s half the price than other places around. I tried their Samosas but they were very-very oilly. Stay away from these deep fried treats there. As I said, this is not a restaurant, it doesn’t even look like a restaurant, but the food is more than good for the price.
