Wacky Jacks

This is a bar with food not a restaurant. For our lunch The place was empty and the leftover cigarette smell greeted us before the bar staff did. Our food was decent and delivered in a timely manner but the table was sticky and the toilet not a place you’d send your kid without sanitizer before and after.

We tried this place because it was close to where we were at the time. We both ordered their big pig tenderloin. Mine was delicious but hubby’s was dry and overcooked. Fries were not hot like they had been sitting around. Wooden tables looked clean but did not feel clean to the touch. Waitress was more interested in visiting in the bar with patrons so I had to find her to ask for silverware and napkins after she brought our food and disappeared quickly. Do not believe we shall return a second time.

Love all the food they serve. Very fun place to go! I will continue to go back when I’m in the area. I love trying new foods they have on special. It has a great atmosphere and looks very cool inside!

Sad to say — food was good but it took 25 mins to get burgers & fish.
We went specifically for their advertised ALL YOU CAN EAT fish. We
Had one person get the fish dinner. Plate came with two fish fillets, slaw,
fries & a hush puppy. He asked for one more piece if fish, fries & slaw.
10 minutes later server advised they were out of everything except fries that we waited another 15 minutes for and we left without them. We arrived at Happy Jacks about 6:15 pm. Too many other choices then to spend hard earned money on. We won’t be back. Normal places would adjust the bill, sent the manager to talk to us, do anything, even apologize. It’s too bad — we enjoyed the atmosphere & the music. Cost too much when you don’t get what you ordered.

Good onion rings. Steaks were cooked good, tastes like they use a grass fed meat, clean flavor, little heavy on black pepper. Peach fried pie was very good. Fun place that looks to be popular with locals. Friday has a live band around 8pm that, like all live bands, plays way too loud for the size of the venue.

This place looked good on the outside and great little salon décor inside. The food not so much. It was not crowded at all and it took a long time to get our food. Food was cold as I am sure it had been sitting under the warming lights for a long time. Burgers don’t come with fries so ordered a side of fries, which cost $ 2.00 and they were cold, limp and not very many. I commented to our server that the food was not hot and the fries were terrible but she did not make any adjustments to the bill or in anyway tried to resolve the issue.

We are regulars here because the food is good and the service is excellent. You can get food as fancy as steak or as simple as a ham and cheese. The fries are hand cut and the all-​you-​can-​eat fish on Fridays is to die for.

I just had the pizza buffet and its over priced $ 7.99 for dried out pizza almost like dehydrated ingredients were used
